KC: Day 3

KC decided to share Bear's breakfast this morning! Remember yesterday? Bear likes homemade chicken soup. Tiny KC sneaks in under the unsuspecting Bear's front legs and daintily snitches bites of yummy puree chicken breast. Literally right under Bear's nose! KC has had two doses of the Clavamox drops. No sneezles so far today. Today she's been much more active. She climbs, she jumps, she leaps, she flies!

We finally got some rest this afternoon. KC is quite the little snuggle bug. Here she is, right before we went to sleep, wrapped in a gorgeous afghan a wonderful friend and neighbor crafted (thanks again, Dixie!) for me. It is beautiful, just like KC.

In case you're wondering, Missy settled down on the table right next to bed, just like she always does.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! What a beautiful kitten! She gets cuter and cuter! She looks like she's saying "Now I lay me down to sleep...!" ML, I just love this pic and the others that you sent via email!!! You are doing such a wonderful job! How was Missy today? How does Bear feel about KC sharing his soup?

My neighbor and friend, Dixie W., made the afghan over a year ago. Dixie is a quilter, you should see her collection of beautiful quilts she has made over the years.

The afghan she made for me is purposely huge. One of my very favorite gifts. She has a beautiful doggie named Sugar Bear, who is soon to be featured on PDJ. KC just took to the afghan, couldn't pry her off of it.

Bear and KC are getting along great. Have to watch because Bear is a hyper poodle and could mow over little KC. Missy has been sticking close, no hissing or other comments. She watches KC now, mostly with curiousity. When I was napping with KC today, Missy slept on the table by the bed, like she always does.

Hi little fuzz! It was good having you here, even if it was only one night. It looks like you've got a purrfect home there and we're very happy for you. Cocoa says he's sorry he hissed at you.
Purrs!
