I've been working all morning on the middle room (aka storage closet).
It's not finished, of course, but come take a look...

And that's exactly what we did.
Missy found her silly snake and buddy pillow and a little nip.
We played for about an hour.
Then I had some tea and did some work while
Missy snuggled into her very own secret hidey place.

It Gets Worse...

...the Mites have made it to the front room!

First, traitor Tazz has lunch with the Mites.

Nigel rested on KC's climbing tree and did KC mind?

Of course not, she was relaxing on the upper deck.

Do-no-wrong Autumn paws at MY beloved bonsai tree.

And the clincher, Tazz and BJ enjoy a rowdy game of calamari.

The Awful Truth

It got quiet today, so I did a little sploring and this is what I found...KC out cold in the living room. Hmmmm.
She certainly seems more tired lately.
There's no one around so I'll head to the bedroom and
enjoy the sun in my favorite window.

Momma Hope Monday

Thank you, Cat Blogosphere, for donating to help with Momma Hope's medical expenses.

In case you didn't know the story, this beautiful Momma Cat was found protecting her three babies, with an eyeball literally knocked from its socket. We figure she was in a fight protecting the babies. Jody spotted her in a locked vacant house with her three tiny babies. The cat, whom Jody named Hope, remembered Jody from taking her to be spayed several weeks before. One by one, she brought her precious babies out to Jody, then Momma Hope climbed in the cage with them. Jody truly communicates with these cats.

Through your generosity, we raised a total of $505 through PayPal. KC paid the fees so the entire sum can go to help Jody's Cats. We also received a very generous donation of jewelry to sell to help with Jody's never-ending cat expenses -- Momma Hope's three babies need care, too. And we sent her a Cat Blogosphere tee shirt so she'd remember us.

Missy: I started life in the wild as a feral kitten. A nice lady took me in after I had a litter of kittens at 4 months old. She named me Missy. When Mommy ML adopted me, she didn't want to change my name, so she just added to it: Missy Blue Eyes. Cause let's face it, I have huge blue eyes. She also calls me Mew-Mew. Thanks for tagging me, King Obsidian.

KC: i's also started life as a baby orphan, all alone. A sweet beautiful angel lady named Karen saved me from tha back room of tha animal shelter. Mine Mommy ML was so impressed, she named me after The Lady, Karen Chavez, but i's just go by tha initials KC. Mine middle initial is D fur Deb Taylor, who worked hard with Karen to free me from tha shelter. So they calls me "KC-Dee" most of tha time. Thanks fur taggin me, Prince Frostin.

Catnip Ravioli!

The "seriously primo nip" ravioli arrived this morning.

Missy Blue Eyes could hardly stand it...

...till I got it out of the package and she could test it out!
