Storm begins her second battle against cancer today.

Mom Laura, Mu shue, Lilly Lu and baby Iris
are in a financial nightmare.
They can't get insurance money they need to begin a new life
until agents are allowed to tour the property.
The property will not allow them in for some reason.
As a result, Mom Laura is living from day-to-day.
Deb and I created a blog to post auctions for Mom Laura.
Each auction only lasts a few days, the items are brand new,
excellent quality and priced to sell.
100% of the money collected goes straight to Mom Laura

Don't know yet what is going to happen on my "toofie" problem. The old temporary crown that leaked has been removed and redone. All the "gravel" is cleaned out of the tooth socket where the problems were originating. It has been sealed and the tooth and pulp and nerves should be "calming down" from all the recent activity. Hopefully, they just need a bit of time. As a child, I had extensive problems with the nerves on the front teeth when my permanent teeth came in. They may remove all the roots and nerves in the front. The paperwork was just faxed to the endodontist's office. Don't care at this point, just so it gets fixed and doesn't ever do this again.

With the fate of a Gizzy Quilt to be determined,
I am meeting Mommy ML in an isolated "safe room".
We are in a secret location where the ballot-drawing will be held.
To protect from tampering, the raffle tickets have been
housed in a specially designed containment vault.
Only one of us knows how to [properly] access this vault.
But I'll let Mommy ML open it anyway!
The moment has finally arrived.
Sanjee is on the phone with her Mommy Robyn, awaiting the results.
The arduous task of removing the lid begins... it is tricky,
but Mommy gets it finally and the tickets are revealed.
It is now up to me to complete the process.
With a solemn nod to Mommy ML, I begin.
It all rests in my paws, ....mmmmm,
I must choose so carefully....
they are very hard to pick up, got one in my mouth...
...or stuck to my nose...
...now that I got it, don't want to let it go... I want to play with it!
:: Mommy ML under breath :: let go Smokey... OK, I drop it on the counter and the winning name is revealed.

Easy Like Sunday AM - The Kill

Sol hunted and killed his first grass spider early this morning.
At least the first we know about, somehow I think he's done this before.
Here, he is frantically trying to devour his prey.

... he was so determined!
There it is, our first glimpse of "the kill". Ugh!
He was so proud, he struted back and forth like he owned that door.
Only we didn't realize until after the pictures were taken....
... look at what is circled behind him.
That is a real live dead small snake in (at least) three pieces.
Really good job, Sol.

Little update on me: Now the two surrounding teeth are hurting like heck.
Could call the doctor, it's not that bad yet, be glad when Monday gets here.
