Purrs for Auntie Deb...

(8:30 PM) Tim called. Deb is just out of surgery and doing good. He's been thru many surgeries with her and said she sounded surprisingly good. He also said she might be released as early as Wednesday.
(7:30 PM) Both Reeta and Deb's cell phones are off. Have left numerous messages and am now in full panic mode. Know it will be okay, but just needed to vent here. Reeta knows to call as soon as she can.
(5:30 PM Central) Still waiting for the call she is out of surgery.
(1: 30 PM) Reeta (Deb's sister) called and said surgery had not started and it would be 5-6 hours instead of 4 hours originally planned.

(9 AM Central) Just talked to Deb and she's getting kinda skeered.
She arrived at 9 AM for prep work. Surgery is 10 AM and should take 4-5 hours. They are to remove part of her hipbone to use on her back.
I told hers that all tha cats an beans an woofies an bunnies an hampsters an horsies an critters, we'd all be purring fur hers.
She finks maybe tha Cat Blogosphere haf forgotten hers. Hee hee, no such luck.

If you wants to leaf her a message, please leaf a comment.

We are printing effurry comment on a separate sheet of paper (recycled) so Auntie Deb can read over them while she be recovering. And iffen you haf a blog post fur hers, leave it in tha comments, we's print that out too.

Yours purrs and purrayers are hers bestest meddycine.

She will come stay wif me when they let hers out, probably Friday. We's keep you updated... Purrs, KC

  29. Dear Auntie Deb,
I am purring for you, really rumbly purrs, and won't stop until you are safely through surgery.
I am looking forward to your spending time with ME while you recover. I have saved some of the special spring toys you brought me so we can play.
I love these springs so much and learned some new things.
For instance, it is easy to take the sink stoppers out, you don't need thumbs. Once that is done, it is so simple to get the springs down the drain. Wayyyyy down. Can you imagine the surprise Mommy ML expressed when she first realized what I had done????
Look forward to seeing you, love and purrs, Sol

  30. Hi Auntie Deb,
I am also happy you will be coming to stay with ME during your recovery.
I have given Mr. Snakie a baf effurry day, just to make sure him is clean enuf for company.
After the last washing -- those Drinkwell fountains are not just for drinking -- I putted Mr. Snakey on Mommie ML's pillow to dry. I fink it surprised her, hee hee.
I am purring and purring fur you.
    Love and more Purrs, BJ

  31. Oh, Auntie Deb,
I shall be so happy to see you when you visit ME. I've been purring furever for you to get well.
In an effort to make the place look nice for you, I began an inspired TP sculpure. It is mine most ambitious work to day, seein as how I akshully got an empty TP roller to use in the work. It will be even better after I drag the entire thing over to the big water fountain. Being wet will allow me to mold it more.
    Love,
    Faith Boomerang

  32. Hi, Auntie Deb.
Me an Mr. Snail has been having some big time fun advenshures. I's also learned some new fun tricks. I can grab fings and run wif em. Guess where Mommy finded her socks today???? In tha Drinkwell fountain. Who would have finked they'd act like "wicks" and the bafroom floor would be semi-flooded??? That was like a bonus.
I've got lots of fun planned when you come to visit ME... I's got some even better surprises for you.
    Love,
    Smokey
