Smokey is snuggling and cuddling with me again, although it took some coaxing to get he and his brothers to stop sulking.
I am feeling so much better. The wounds are healing, bruising has set in, and much of the pain is gone. I can almost use my hands again.
The only problem is the ankle area, there is a big lump above the ankle so you can't even see an ankle. I will see Dr. Bob tomorrow morning, just to be sure it is healing correctly and there is no damage.
We are glad to hear you are doing better!

We are so happy to hear you are healing and that Smokey is OK, too. We didn't learn about this until this morning. ML, Smokey is a lucky kitty to have a mom who understands her kitties and can put the attack into perspective. Having been attacked ourselves on occasion by our own frightened kitties, we know it's not always easy at the moment, especially in light of the intense pain you must have felt. Wow. We are sending healing thoughts and our kitties are sending lots of purrs and headbonks to both you and Smokey.
