Mancat Monday

The cats love to sit on the tub while I take a bath and then jump in while the water runs out. Here are Smokey (left) and BJ (right) enjoying the last of the bath water. Hee hee, the last thing they expected was me to have a camera! Muhahahahaha! (Don't they look guilty!)

Charley has to be at Dr. Bob's office at 8 a.m. Monday. I am very, very worried. He is weak and his good side -- he is paralyzed on the left side -- is now equally weak. He has fallen several times trying to walk, that seems to no longer be an option. He is very disoriented, Dr. Bob said that is probably the fever.

1:30 a.m. Charley woke me up with another fall. He simply can no longer walk. I finally gave up trying to move him and made him a bed on the floor. Don't know how I will get him to the car from the floor, must find a big strong person to help.

On a more positive note, go by and celebrate three years of The Cat Blogosphere.
From Robyn's great idea to what it has evolved into today, it would never have been possible without each and every one of you!
Happy Third Birthday, Cat Blogosphere.

  8. CONGRATULATIONS on your 3rd year of bringing all the cats of the blogosphere together. Not only have you brought us together, you've made it possible for all of us to help each other. Thru sickness and health and not even death do we part. You are both angels with crowns that must weigh a ton, for every cat/dog you've helped there's a diamond added in your crown. Bless you both.

(Here, you can call 911 for what is called "lift assist". That's all they do is help you life/move

  18. I had to drive to the store and get some :: ahem :: Temptations. On the way back, my good neighbor Eduardo stopped by. He will be here at 7 am (central time) to carry Charley to the car. So that is one less thing to worry about.

Charley seems very very dazed, he barely recognizes me or even seems to know where he is. He seems to have accepted not being able to move and is just lying there.

Thankfully, we will be at the hospital in about two hours.
