Catch Up Monday
We are way behind in the awards received over the past weeks.
Faith Boomerang is now an official member of the Tail Chaser's Club. You will find her at number 14 on the list with her tail named "Big Floofy Tail".
Ms P and Cinza gave us this award on 2/12 and so did Mr. Hendrix on 2/13."This blog invests and believes in PROXIMITY -- nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."
Passing this along to Eight Bloggers...
The Cats of Manx Mnews: Abby, Boo, Jinx, Ping and Gracie
The Two Sisters: Lucy and Trixie
Princess Pearl
Hansel gave this award to Faith Boomerang back on 2/13."When accepting this auspicious award, you must write a post bragging about it, including the name of the misguided soul who thinks you deserve such acclaim, and link back to said person so everyone knows he or she is. Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design. Or improvise by including have no idea who you are because you don’t have 7 friends. Show the 7 random victims’ names and links and leave a harassing comment informing them that they were prized with “Honest Weblog.” Well, there’s no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon. List at least ten honest things about yourself. Then, pass it on! "

Thursday
Update: Tazz had her first sub-q fluids about two hours ago.
Mommy Margaret held Tazz and Mommy ML did the rest.
It went purrfectly, Tazz was such a good girl.
Tazz was up prancing around right afterwards, while Mommie ML and Margaret sort of collapsed on the sofa.
Thanks, Peggy, for all your help and tips.
Sol, here. Practicing my "serious" look.
And here I am with a big smile on my face. Can you see it?I'm happy because I stole a piece of brown packing paper when Mommy ML and KC were wrapping auction packages. I love brown paper.
Mom ML wanted to thank everyone for their comments and support after the loss of Bandit earlier this week. She tried for years to get him to become an indoor cat. She said that is what hurts so much, knowing his life didn't have to end so soon. If she could have gotten to him sooner, before he became so wild and feral.
Later today, Mommies ML & Margaret will give Tazz her first sub-q fluids all by themselves. I'll be back with a full report on how that goes... Sol

Farewell, Bandit
Four neighbors came to tell me Bandit had gone to the Bridge early this morning. He was hit by a car on Westpark Drive. Margaret and I got a box and wrappings and got him off the busy road.My first photos of Bandit were taken in July 2007.

Missy Blue Eyes
Oh, my, I am in Diamond Emerald Eyes T-13 Romantic Cats.I just cannot believe the beautiful graphic or the incredible company.
Mommie ML and Daddy Charley have been running nonstop.
Yesterday they drove Mommie Margaret and Tazz around to find out what is wrong with her. The vets did tests and we should know later today. Mommie ML made them give Tazzie some pain medications, because she is crying and howling all the time. She finally slept all night (so did Mommie Margaret).
Tazz Update!
The vet just called with the test results. Tazz is in the early stages of renal failure. Her heart is very healthy, however. He wants to keep her on antibiotics for a few more days and then remove several rotten teeth and the growth under her tongue. The vet said with surgery, Tazz could easily live a few more years!!!
Auntie Deb and I will be setting up a new auction to raise money for Tazz's expenses. We will make an announcement soon.
Thank you for all your purrs and purrayers, they are really working!

Wednesday
Sol and Tazz sneak a kiss on Sunday (before Auntie Deb left).Tazz is sick. The vet discovered some kind of growth in her mouth during her grooming yesterday. It is most likely benign, but is causing Tazz to be in pain and unable to eat. We have a vet appointment at 9 a.m. The vet at the groomers said if the growth is removed, Tazz could easily live several more years.
Mom Margaret is not taking this well. She is a widow and has spent almost all her savings fighting pancreatic cancer. Auntie Deb and I are going to post some really cool items to raise money to pay for Tazzie's expenses.
We received some awards recently and I would like to say thanks.
The Hotties passed this cool award on from Derby and
handsome Hansel passed it on from Asta:

pee ess: Tonight, Faith Boomerang played with her Star Chaser for the first time since her LadyGarden-ectomy!
Toosday
Auntie Deb is recovering from her plane ride, which was really hard on her. Think she tried to fly too soon.
During the day she is confined to the first story of the house, with a bed on the sofa by the fireplace. Her five kitties are all over her.
Faith Boomerang, or Baby Tortie as I still call her, is recovering. She seems to be even more loving and cuddly since the surgery. She and Missy Blue Eyes are often seen napping together (!).
KC's cold is clearing up, although some of it was normal hairball activity.
I know we took care of Auntie Deb while she healed, but she also took care of us. I learned a lot about caring for my kitties from her and I can now make some great meals.
Deb should start blogging again sometimes this week.
We also have really special items to auction for our Sickly CB Cats, items we picked out together while shopping -- I"ll be posting them later this week.

Purrs Needed
Please send lots of purrs for Faith Boomerang.
She had a very rough night.
Auntie Deb stayed with her all night to make sure she didn't get worse.
All the other cats spent the night outside Auntie Deb's door, purring and talking to Faith Boo.
Update!
Dr. Smith said it was a reaction to the pain meds that caused the problems last night and this morning. We are going to pick up the new meds that also calm her down. Now all I have to do is calm down, hee hee.

Faith Boomerang Comes Home
We get little Faith Boomerang from the Cat Hospital today.
She had to spend Tuesday at the vets for fasting, which is very difficult to do with 5 brothers and sisters. Then she stayed overnight on Wednesday for observation. We can pick her up about 2 p.m. We'll post photos when we get home.
Update!
Faithy Boo is home and happy.
We have lots of photos which we will post later.
Thank you for all the wonderful support and purrs.

I would like to tell all my friends that I will be back to blogging next Tuesday! I can't wait to visit with everyone!"
