She will certainly get the best recovery care ever from Sweet Praline.

Neala made it through surgery and is in recovery!!!!

We have dedicated our blog and our hearts to Neala.
Neala is scheduled for surgery at 8:15 a.m.
It is risky surgery and she is very, very tiny.
But, as they say...
"it's not the size of the dog in the fight,
it's the size of the fight in the dog".

That is even more true for determined little kittens like Neala.
She has a lot of fight in her.
Fight, pretty girl, fight!
You have an amazing number of beans & cats & woofies all pulling for you!

Please send this lovely little girl lots of love and purrs,
and don't forget her devoted beans, Mom Trish & Dad.

Purrthday Party fur KC, Day 2!

Wowie, effurryone's haffing so much fun... I's gonna extend mine party till Sunday night!!!
It's not really that hot here today -- only 96F -- but still, it feels so good in The Ice House.
We's got our Texas Voles plus tha Eastern Atlantic Branch from The Taylor CatSSSSS.

Today is Sassy & Spats' Purrthdays.
After you go over there to wish them a good day, come back here and let's party some more.

And over at 40 Paws it is Annie's Purrthday and hers haffing a Texas-sized party, too.

It is also Darling Millie's Rescue-versary.
It was on June 27th, 2006 that the wonderful Malcolm found a shattered, injured kitten on the street, scooped it up and took it to the vet.

Tortie Tuesday Part 2

This adorable little girl could be KC’s twin.
She is currently at the Baldwin Shelter, Baltimore County Animal Control (Maryland) and is running out of time to find a forever home.
Just a couple of days left.

Totally Tortie Tuesday - KC

You saw the huge sheet of brown wrapping paper the cats have been playing with, BJ was posing on it yesterday.
Today was KC's turn.
She worked for almost an hour positioning the Star Chaser just so on the paper.
Then she pulled the paper from the back, partially covering it and tucked the paper edge into the track.
I watched her for a while as she worked.
Finally, she settled down for her reward, the purrfect napping spot.

Easy Sunday Morning Mancat Style - BJ

Gorgeous mancat BJ enjoys his Sunday morning.
Isn't his coat amazing - it is thick and soft and frosted.
And he is enjoying a nap on a huge piece of brown paper.
It came in a package and I let them have it.
You would think I gave them a million dollar blanket the way they are enjoying this.
Plus, it makes a lot of noise when they walk on it. Bonus!

BJ's name is Brutus Jr. -- BJ for short,
named after his older "brofur", Brutus of The Royals.
Both Brutus' (uh, Bruti... Brutu?) are 100% Texas Mancat.

It is Brutus of The Royals that has a cough and asthma.
We want him to get well and get back to his boisterous ways.

This morning Maxie will haf surgery.
Him may not be able to be saved, the vet may have to euthanize him while under.
He needs a miracle, for sure.
Laura's twins are very attached to Maxie, they love him so much.
Laura is sick over this, she took him to haf him's toofs cleaned, just routine, and him's esofogus gotted burned real bad. Now it doesn't work anymore.
