Favorite Fings Thursday - Missy Blue Eyes

We have three sick kitties in the Sherwood household:
Sol has a huge rash on his face, I had thought it was from fighting, it isn't;
Smokey has an eye infection;
KC has her usual URI.

The human update:
Deb was referred to a neurosurgeon.
I was referred to a PT and a pain doctor and will need surgery later.
All in all, a pretty bad week here.
Thanks so much for the birthday wishes and cards and greetings.

I think sweet Missy Blue Eyes is contented  and happy with her very own Hairy Blankie.

It is called Snow. It is pure white, very soft and it shimmers.

She has slept on it every night since it arrived.
And stays on it most of the day.
It "shimmers" in the sunlight during her afternoon naps.
Beside Missy is a cute little blue "bug" Peggy included.

Easy Caturday with Sol and Faith Boomerang

Sorry we haven't been back to post since the Cinco de Mayo Party.

First both my back and neck started to hurt and I was "sentenced" to bedrest.

Then the temps went up into the 90's and brought high ozone alerts which triggered a severe migraine.

As soon as I can get around, we will be looking to move.

Either to Dallas with my sweet Aunt Dorothy.

Or Aunt Dorothy will move here to a small city like 

Rosenburg or Richmond, outside the "big city" of Houston.

KC and I will be selecting some lucky winners Sunday so stop by.

And we hope everyone had as much fun at the party as we did hosting.

with a side of warm and crunchy mouse puddin!

And bowls of heavy thick cream.

And when we are all full and finished eating,
we can enjoy conversashun up high in the specshul ginormous ferris wheel I had built just fur the party.
Also a great place fur a nap or two.
Great view for the Fireworks Extravaganza later tonight.

There's lots and lots of trees to climb, an a specshul nap area way up in tha trees.
Again this year, we haf The Snakey Woods. It's just what you finks it is!!! Happy Hunting.

As always, there's dancing outside to tha live band...
an a DJ up front if you's purr-furr sumfing a little less traditional.

It's one of our favorite songs.

Don't furget about our water fountains: row upon row of sparkling silver (akshully stainless steel) fountains with pure water.

The beautiful firey fireworks shows will be scheduled effurry hour all tha way until dawn!!!!!
It seems most of us haf gathered here on top of the Biggie Ferris Wheel. 
There's dancing and a small band playing...
Zippy's new vershun of Tha Hat Dance is a new tradishun for our Cinco de Mayo party!

We's opened the CATNIP BAR up here as well. 
There is plenty to eat from tha food bar.
And broke out the Lizz-Quila for tha last hours of Cinco de Mayo!
So pass those bottles around to effurryone!

Tha kittens should all be tucked into their beddies high in the trees to watch tha fireworks with lovely creme brulee drinks and warm mouse and sugar cookies. 

Late tonight or tomorrow morning, before you go, take a whack at one of the pinatas.

Ours be specshul fur kitties, wif lots of temptations, fev-ver butt mices,
squiggles, catnip nanners, bunny kickers plus a few surprises.
We's also gotted specshul pinatas fur tha woofies, buns, hampsters and tha donkeys.

Mancat Monday with Sol and Guest

I finished washing Sol's Platinum Fountain and noticed him staring behind me.

In the last blurry photo, you can see what has his complete attention.

We are in a drought this year, and these big roaches are coming inside in record numbers. 

Our bathroom is full of them. Ugh.

They fly at you, very creepy.
