I haf not coughed nor sneezed since I gotted home.

Faith Boomerang has only sneezed one teeny tiny sneezle.

Monday, Not A Fun Day - KC at the Vet

KC is going in to see our wonderful vet, Dr. Smith, in a few minutes.

She has a chronic URI and with the cool weather, it has gotten worse.

So she will probably be getting one of the antibiotic shots that lasts a couple of weeks.

We'll post more when we get back.

BTW, little sisfur Faith Boomerang may be going as well, she has the sneezies this morning.

UPDATE!

Leslie and Dr. Smith examine a very reluctant KC!
She has a sinus infection and had three shots and IV fluids.
We also purchased some special treats that have lysine in them,
since KC doesn't like the lysine flakes or paste.
And I got some of the salmon and sweet potato cat food they all love!

And Faith Boomerang was not sneezing this morning,
so we will take her in if she should start showing symptoms.

Seaborne, We Will Miss You - KC & Kitties

The Bridge welcomed the sweetest angel Wednesday, 
Seaborne Ruskin Taylor aka Bubba.

We have known Seaborne, and all the Taylor CatSSSSS, since we first began blogging and all of us lived here in Houston.
We's gonna miss him sumfing fierce.

Sending purrs, purrayers and love to Auntie Deb & fambly... and especially to Sam, who is roaming the house trying to find his brofur Seaborne.

This beautiful soft cuff bracelet is made up of genuine Caribbean Blue Chalcedony, Turquoise, Aquamarine, Amazonite, Apatite, Bali Sterling Silver, Chrysocolla and tarnish resistant, nickle free .925 Argentium Sterling Silver Wire. It has a safety chain so you can't lose it.

This bracelet has never been cleaned or polished and has been stored for the past few years. It is untarnished and the silver still sparkles.

Fankful Thursday - BJ

This is BJ, also sleeping on the new sofa.

It is arthritis in my neck causing the problems.
I need physical therapy for a few weeks, and then back for evaluation.
This is not as threatening as having disc problems.

And BJ is the sweetest kitty ever. He sleeps like that, right beside me, every night. And sometimes when I am watching tv in the living room. His toofy on the one side hangs out when he sleeps. ~ML

Tabby Toosday with Missy Blue Eyes and the New Couch!

Missy Blue Eyes loves the new couch.

The cushions meet the back to create a nice, wide ledge "purrfect" for napping.

Today Missy demonstrates two of her favorite positions.

In the first position, she seems to defy gravity... 

she sleeps like this for hours without sliding down!

Her second favorite position is lying within the gap created by the ledge.

Absolutely no danger of falling off!

3rd Annual Worldwide Moment - KC

 

Thanks to Two Special Wires and to Cats of the Wildcat Woods for letting us know, 

the Third Annual Worldwide Moment will happen at 6 PM EST Monday Nov. 14.  

It is a a moment to honor the animals we have known and loved in the past 

and to send out positive energies to those alive today the world over.  

We will be thinking of all the great kitties who ran off to the Bridge,

every one of them an important part of The Cat Blogosphere.

KC - Facts About 11-11-11 - Purrfect Same-Number/Repunit Palindrome

 

Hi effurryone!

I's putting on mine Teknickle Tortie hat fur this post.

Yesterday, 11/11/11 at 11:11 and 11 seconds, 
the date and time were a purrfect same-number palindrome. 

That means it reads the same backwards and furrwards. 

 And that won’t happen again fur anuffurr 100 years.

Well, akshully, it happened again at 11 pm iffen you don't observe military time. 
Hee hee.

Anuffurr way to say it... yesterday was a repunit palindrome!  

REPUNIT stands for REPeating UNIT
and refurrs to a number that contains only the digit "1". 

So iffen you write yesterday's date as 11-11-11, well, it was a repunit day!

Ok, this is a bit much... 
I's gonna roll over and take a nap now fur Sleepy Saturday.

Simon the Snake Meets BJ

BJ and brofurs Smokey and Sol check out their newest favorite toy, Simon the Snake.

We are offering one in the current auction for Marg's Animals.
This snake is two feet in length and stuffed with cotton and catnip!
It is so well-made and sturdy, it should actually last a while.

BTW, the popcorn on the floor was for Missy Blue Eyes! 
She loves it... she hears the popcorn popper and comes running.
