It wasn't the cat's fault. I washed and scrubbed and scrubbed some more, but it still got infected. It happened on Friday night so Saturday afternoon I drove myself to the ER. Got some good drugs and was good as new within a few days. I hope your ouchie feels better now. Those things are not to be messed with. The same thing happened to my human's daughter when she was in high school. A friend's cat gave her a small bitey on her arm and even though she washed and medicated it, in just a few hours she had red streaks and a 104 fever. She ended up in the hospital for 10 days, two surgeries, almost lost her hand and still has a terrible scar!
