Here is KC today, 7/29, one week after arriving in Houston.
Below are a couple of pictures for comparison.
This is the infamous "LA Outlaw" mug shot taken Sunday, 7/16.
KC had just been brought in and photographed when Karen C dropped by the shelter.

She spent that night with Karen C. & family.
You could already see the relief in her face.

isn't amazing just how much the expression on her little face changed in one week? from a terrified little kitten to a one who knows she is loved and has a forever home. isn't love wonderful?! bless you karen c. and deb for all of your hard work and persistence. bless you ml for opening your heart and home and taking her in.little kc will have what every kitty should have in this world - love and a forever home. now if we can just figure out how to save the rest of the kitties in this world (or at least as many as we can). guess we have our work cut out for us.
Very well put, Moms. I could see a huge difference in the "outlaw" mug shot and when she was at Karen's. And then look down at Day 6, right under this, that little face is so different. Poor little baby.
Yes, if we could just save them all. Guess that could be another motto for us: saving the world one kitten at a time. Oh, that we could.
And Karen, maybe you can help me guestimate a birthday for her???
What a diffence a week makes! He fur is shiny, her eyes are brighter! She looks comfortable!!! What an incredible job ML!!!
Love the new picture! And my what a difference from that scared little kitten Karen 1st saw! ML, give her some pets and a kiss from me!
She's a very beautiful kitty.
Hi Ariel, didn't recognize you for a second (didn't look like the picture on Kat's -- ha ha). You are really a beautiful gir.
Amazing! Proof of what love does. My Mittens was the same in the shelter, sad, afraid, growling. Bless you.

We got the email with the pictures, and we're forwarding it to other people. We hope that helps. We don't know of anyone personally who wants a feline at the moment unfortunately.
KC is beginning to look so much better. You can see it in her eyes.
Purrs little one.
Hi Mary Lynn. Nice to meet you! Princess Mia and I are in the Montrose area.
Yes, Karen, June 26th sounds like the ideal birthday anniversary for K.C. I believe your grandma had a hand in your finding K.C. I really believe that...
What a pretty little kitty cat you are KC and you do look so much happier and loved now
Aaahw. She is so pretty and looks at peace in her new home.
Sex-C KC
Okay, ML. I'm having KC withdrawals! Must...have...more...pix... of KC!!
Dear Mary Lynn, Thank you for the nice things you said about me on Kat's Cat of the Day. I've read about you on some of the other Cat blogs I read and it is nice to meet you.
Love, Rascal
P.S. My Mom says KC is very very cute.
