R & R

KC & Charley are taking a nap. Charley said KC is really "humming".

I was holding KC after Deb left. The kitten was kinda quivering, I thought she was "talking" to me, like she did with Deb & Sloane. No, not talking! She threw up all over my shirt.

I put her in the litter box again. Nothing. This is the fourth trip to the litter box. Next, she climbs in the neat wooly bed Karen C sent with her. I thought she was snuggling down to sleep. WRONG. She was pooping -- in her kitty bed.

We keep a bit of Purina Kitten Chow for Missy, as a treat. KC found it and ate before I realized it. Now, she is snuggled up asleep beside Charley.

I am going to go rest, we're having some nice stormy weather. Going to get "Hissy Missy" beside me for a nap. She stopped hissing when I come in the room. That's a start.

I hope Charley doesn't drool in his sleep :-)
KC looks pretty sleepy. It's been a tough few days. Definitely dangerous. She's waitin fur her chance to go fur his throat.

ummm...our Lady says she's really sorry but she forgot to mention that the little fuzz only met a litter box for the first time last Sunday an she's still not too good at it yet. in fact, when she comes home from work, the Lady's got some washing to do her own self cause of that little baby. when we moved in here, Cocoa pooped on Amanda's bed an on the couch an Midnight did it in the plant, but I was purrfect.
Grr

Well, KC's just a tiny little thing and exhausted after her long trip, she's entitled to a mishap or two. After reading all the negative stuff about her on those nasty shelter papers, figured it will take her little overstressed system a bit of time to stabilize. I have heard kitties train themselves, I'm sure she will.

we woulda let the little fuzz use our big litter box at our house cept the Lady said the little fuzz wasn't allowed to wander around the house by herself cause she had a flight reserved for the morning an if she wandered around our messy house we wouldn't have been able to find her for a week, at least

has you tried to put some cat poop in the litterbox for her to smell? i've done that with all of my cats and they get the idea immediately. - Meezers Mom

What a precious baby! And so much to learn in her new house. How lucky she is to be with you who are very understanding about these tiny souls.

She is beautiful. =)

karen c., maybe you should take some of those "after" pics to the shelter for them to see just how "right they were". just make sure you take something to pick their jaws off the ground after you wipe their smug smileds off their faces. do i seem a bit bitter about their actions??? they so missed the target on this little kitty.
