That is, until today.
She "allowed" me to pet her tummy.
More amazing, she made a noise very much like a purr.
Hope this becomes a habit.

Missy, if you don't want the tummy rubbed, you have to stop showing it off! Most of us cannot resist the lure of a fluffy tummy! I agree with Deb, I'd risk the injury. I wonder, could I distract you by dangling a feather with one hand while the other one sneaks in for the rub?
OH MISSY, that tummy is so precious! I want to rub your tummy, too! Such a pretty girl with such a sweet tummy. I guess I'd have to risk it too!
Guess maybe Missy is wising up and wants her share of pets and loving. Smart kitty! It is a shame that when they expose their tummys they are off limits. Only tummy I get to rub in this house is Gizmo's. That Cleo is just temptation bait when she lets it all hang out. Oh Well, love them anyway. Good going Missy, Mom loves the purrs and love from you.
....ahem....I better not post what I'd like to post as I've been getting myself into too much trouble lately....but I will say this....if you look closely at hey 'tummy', approximately halfway down you will notice the pattern of her fuzz forms the shape of a koala bears' face!...I'm not crazy...check it out..duzza.....
Such a wide, fluffy tummy just begging to be rubbed! And I love the curled up feets too! Maybe KC is having a mellowing effect on Missy?

Victor, I don't know what to do, she calls me KC half of the time, guess she can't tell us apart, either. But worse, she calls me Bear. Imagine, getting me, Missy, mixed up with a woofie. And a little one at that. Hmmmph....
