Warrior Wednesday?

KC got my attention making a strange "chittering" noise....
She was trying to climb the walls to get to something...
... then I noticed a Mosquito Hawk wayyyyy up high!
Unfortunately, it decided to land on the floor - big mistake!

KC quickly cornered and ate her prey.

Cute and a huntress! How did the buggie taste?

Good for you KC. I would have loved to have gotten up to the ceiling to get my prey but unfortunately the spider didn't fall to the floor or on the bed. So I just had to lay there and watch it. If it did fall on the bed Mom would have had a fit. That's fun to watch too.

Mom thinks that "bug sound," as she calls it, is so funny!

Great hunting job KC! :) I chitter whenever I see birdies outside. My mom calls it my "birdie noise!" :)

Very very good hunting, KC! I make that teeth chattering sound too!

KC the warrior! I love when they do that chittering noise. It's also great having bug hunters in the house. Emma loves to catch flies and crickets that get in the house.

oh yeah, a great huntress hiden behind a deceptively sweet face....
good job kc! mommy loves when i kill the bugs in our house. especially the spiders. she's afraid of those and usually can't get close enough even to kill them. sometimes when she's brave, she'll throw a book on top of them and wait until daddy gets home to remove it (she thinks if the spider isn't dead it'll jump at her if she moves the books, dumb we know but she still can't deal with it).
anyway, awesome job killing the mosquito hawk kc!

Oh, how wonderful! I watch Audace and Ruse (mostly Ruse) do the same thing. (Grace can't be bothered!!) But I'm so happy they eat whatever they manage to pounce on and kill! Congrats to KC!

Yep... I like bugs too. I like to smash them down... get them nice and flat with my paw -- and then I eat 'em.

OK my sweet, precious KC. Since you're from California, I'll tell you about things we don't eat in the deep south:
Lizards-they eat roaches
Mosquito Hawks-the eat mosquitos
Frogs-the eat every other nasty bug

But, now that Mom's not looking, way to go you mighty hunter, you! I woulda went after him too!

Yum, a bug snack - lots of protein to keep a warrior strong! And what poise and grace -- I always knock over some lamps & furniture when I do that.

Oooh she's a good hunter! That bug had no chance! We call it barking when Puddy chatters at things. It's funny because it's such a cute little sound! :)

I'm so proud to call such a magnificent warrior kitty my girlfriendcat! You are the most graceful, beautifulest cat ever, even hunting!

I hope Bear and your mom are feeling better! Do you need more help purring them well? I could come over and help. I'm a really good purrer! (and then maybe I could tell you a secret that has something to do with you mom!)
