Wednesday

Well, I'm back, sort of. Trying to adjust to life without Bear. She was by my side for seventeen plus years. And she was a lot of work, especially as she got older. Believe it or not, all the free time is depressing.
I want to thank everyone who sent cards, left comments, called, etc. I promised to thank everyone individually, but just am not up to re-reading everything right now. There is a huge Bear-shaped hole in my heart that nothing will ever fill.
To all of you, your support meant so much. Thank you for being there.

Take all the time you need to and don't apologize to anyone for it. We've all either been there, or will be there someday. Hugs to all of you. Take care.

I know that feeling -- from when I lost my precious Indy. She was 14, so you had 3 more years with Bear than I did with her, but still ... the feelings are the same.

Well, ML, first, ditto what Mr Hendrix and Marilynn say. I've been checking your blog and worrying a little, but I saw your posts on other sites, so I figured you are doing as well as you can. Take your time, enjoy your memories of Bear. The biggest lesson I have learned so far this year is that today is all we can count on,and every loss will be different... Hugs, purrs and prayers.

Nothing can fill the Bear-shaped hole but purrs can make you feel a wittle better!
So more purrs!!!

I have been checking your blog too. Really glad to see you back even for a little while. Yes, I also know how you feel. I can finally look at a picture of Amber without crying and it's going on seven months since she has gone. The good memories will come. Take care ML and take your time. God Bless.

Yes, take all the time you need and no appologies needed. We miss you posting but SO understand. I agree w/Scoob, Scout and Shag too. I can remember coming upstairs and for a glance, I'd see Danny laying on my bed. It takes time and things will get easier, but we never stop missing them. Take care ML. Hugs & love!

P.S. How's your knee? Surgery or PT?

It's definitely hard when they go. It's been over a year since I lost Vince. Some days it seem like forever. Sometimes I'm right back in the vet hospital with him. At least Bear got to go at home in your arms and got to say her goodbyes to all of you.

It's really hard to be without those little fuzzy faces. It sure leaves a huge hole in your heart, doesn't it? Shadow's been gone a year and I still miss her. It won't always be this raw. We're all here for you if you need anything.
