Margaret will have surgery beginning between noon and one pm central time was finally taken to surgery at 4 pm central time. It is scheduled for a minimum of eight to twelve hours. If she doesn't have this surgery, she will die. Please keep Margaret, her sister Kaye, and her daughter Lisa (recovering from major surgery in another hospital) in your prayers today. Thank you.

I've been gone so long that I'm WAY out of the loop! I'm not sure who Margaret is but I'm purring up a storm. My Mommy says to tell you, ML, that she's praying, too!

Much love,
Oscar

Oh, ML, what a lot to deal with! Let Margaret know that we're all purring and purraying for her. Mom's Dad has two artificial valves in his heart and they had to be replaced 2 years ago. That was a long, scary surgery, but he's recovered... slowly. They were first replaced 14 years ago and he recovered more quickly. Poor Margaret!

We're all sending healing vibes to Margaret, along with some for strength to you and all those who care about her.

My mother just underwent surgery for colon cancer, and the doctors were afraid her heart wouldn't withstand the anesthesia, but she came through OK. Wishing the same good result for Margaret...

Thank you so much for all the comments and stories, they have helped more than you will know. When Margaret is recovering, I plan to print them out and let her see all her cat blogosphere friends.
And Victor, indeed a package is ready to mail for you... lots of goodies based on your design. Everyone want to see the items Victor Tabbycat designed? Click here!
