Missy & KC - Feral Friday

When I went to check on the Babies after their first night alone, this is what I saw. You can biggify to see Baby Socks in the nest. Later, when I checked back, all three were on top of the kitty condo.

Momma Tortie Update: We just got the news about Momma T's condition and it is good, so far. Her fever is down, she woofed down any and all food. She is on three meds for the URI and diarrhea.

Dr. Smith suggested keeping her at the Cat Hospital so they could continue to monitor her closely and give her meds. The heart specialist comes in on Tuesday and she will have a sonogram. We'll know more what to do after that.

The kittens are having so much fun with all the extra attention. We've been watching closely for any signs of illness. They are playing, eating heartily, and no sneezes or sniffles. And they do eat on their own, just mix some chicken broth with their cat food until it is almost drinkable.

Last night I disinfected the entire room (and then cleaned it off with organic non-toxic cleaner), washed everything in the room -- blankets, condos, litter box, etc. just to be sure.

Oooo, they're so cute it hurts. Good news about Momma Tortie, kitty colds can put them off food so it's good she's eating.

YAY! that's all very good news! those babies are so fluffy already - just think how much fluff they'll have when they're bigger! the Lady wants to cuddle them.

(Silver came home after several days in the kitty hospital. His kidneys are failing, among other ailments, and he's on a special diet. He's already gained some weight back - he was looking horrible when he went in. He's not expected to live too much longer, but his people are trying to keep him happy and healthy as long as possible. He's a sweet kitty. He's been over to our house a couple times to ask for treats. The Lady used to give him Temptations, but now he's not allowed to have them. She's got some of his special food to give him for when he visits.)

Dearest ML and KC & Missy! I will keep the Torti momma in my purrrrayer box that she gets all better real soon...sort of like me:) I am much better even if I have a tummy cancer (icky!) I just love my little pillow and would like to know who it was that made it for me so I can send them a thank you. I have the addy from the box:) Is it from some kitties beans? I hope you do not think me too ungracious of a kitty for taking such a long time to return your visit. You can only imagine how happy I was to see you come cheer me on while I was so very sick. Mommy was heartbroken and thought for sure I would not regain any of my spirit and was prepared for the worst. But I was worth a small miracle. With your purrrayers and some good medicine, I have regained my strength day by day. Mommy would not have made it through her worries about me without your comfort. Each night we keep you in our prayers and wish you endless Blessings this Thanksgiving season.

Love and hugs from our house to yours, Miss Peach and the mommy

Hi! So happy to hear about Mama Tortie! I knew Dr. Smith would fix her right up! Summer had the exact same problems and Dr. Smith made her "all better"! Sorry I haven't been around in a while. I've had a bad tummy virus. Yucky!

Such cute furry kittens!
