from the way the Lady and the Blonde Girl are squealing and saying "I want", we think you better lock your doors tonight. they are prolly headed your way with cat carriers.
Omigosh, dad is trying to talk mom into another kitten...she's a hard sell and always says no and three's enuff and den dad gives up. He's so not good at dis stuff.
What in the world is on little Sock's head?? Mom still says Baby Tortie needs to stay with KC. Baby Tuxi looks a little like Cleo. Looks like your Mom can't help taking so many pictures, but they are such cute subjects and I don't blame her. So many different poses. My Mom would be doing the same thing.
O, Casper, to answer your question, remember the other day when Baby Tortie discovered tp and the joy of shredding. Apparently Baby Socks found some of the shreds and was playing in them. Kittens are so much fun.
To answer your question, it's a full-time job, but you know that already. Daily scrubbing of litter boxes, food-bowls, yak off of floors and rugs, laundry, vacuuming, sweeping up litter. The feeding and medicating. But with that said, kittens are so much more work than adults. Anyone who has done any amount of rescue work will agree. They are tons of cute, but they are tons of work too. Cleaning up after them, finding out what they are getting into, getting them out of it, and medicating them through coccidia, ringworm (ARRRGHHHHH), upper-respiratory viruses, de-worming, hauling them in for vaccs and fixing. So, that's probably why you're finding life "busy" right now!
I buy 2 types of litter, so I hit Costco & Sam's about every other week, and usually purchase 80 to 200 lbs. at a shot depending on how much this old woman feels like hauling around. I hit Petsmart about every 3 weeks, and get my prescription food at the vet monthly. The cashiers usually ask how many cats I have. I used to tell them, but got tired of their looks that plainly said, "You're a crazy cat lady." So now I just say, "Too many."
You don't even want to know how much we spend at the vet and the specialists. Our vet agrees that most of our cats would have been euthanized if they belonged to other people.
And remember, you need to find homes for the healthy ones even if you fall in love with them. Because if you continue to foster, there will always be the ones who won't stand a chance of finding a home who will take care of their special needs. I used to stress that to all the foster moms who I supervised.
Ohhh, my mum is squealing over the tiny kitten toes. I have to go and sit on her now to stop her from booking a plane ticket all the way to Mericky and coming to get Baby Socks!
Oh Goodness! Mommy is doing it again. "Mommy...you cannot get to those babis through the computer screen. How many times do we have to go through this?" ML, Mommy is having a kitten attack. These fluffies are so adorable...we want to come and play! Sam wants to give them all baths! GREAT PICTURES....keep 'em comin'!
Uh oh, Mom's going "Awwwwwwww" again. Um, yeah, better lock your doors in case she goes with the Lady and the Blonde Girl with cat carriers. PlEEZE lock yore doors! I'll pay yoo in tem-tay-shuns or toona or anyfing! Purrrrrrrs, Sanjee
