Update on the Challenge

(See yesterday's post for KC's Challenge to Sam of The Taylor Catsssss)
OK, this only shows 7 of the 13 gorgeous felines in our house.
All but Missy was in the room when we came in, if only I had planned for this.
Who would have thought bringing in bags from Walmart would be so exciting?
Guess it's because we buy lots of cat stuff there, like Temptations and Tuna.
Grr, Midnight & Cocoa suggested a laser light, which we will try next,
along with Victor's suggestion of Temptations.

And there are 13 cats in our house:
  1. Missy Blue Eyes
  2. KC
  3. Momma Dinah
  4. Nigel
  5. Solitaire (Sol)
  6. Autumn
  7. BJ
  8. Earl
  9. Bond, James Bond
  10. Momma Tortie
  11. Baby Tortie
  12. Baby Tuxie
  13. Baby Socks
I don't think there's anymore... yet!

No, I don't think you could have enough cats. However, our small place is a bit cramped these days! But it is so much fun and it's nice knowing these poor cats aren't on the streets and they will have a chance.

Think CB is back, at least it was when I left a few minutes ago (7 AM central time). I hope it is visible to everyone. And hope it stays put.

Getting 7 of the 13 in one photo is quite the accomplishment! That's a lot of kitties!

We're not finished yet, we are going to give it another shot, literally.
Victor suggested using lots of Temptations and Grr, Midnight & Cocoa suggested a lazer light. And there is one more plan left (muhahahahahah).

It must be so much fun to have all those fuzzies flying all over the house. I'm assuming at least 9 of them still fly, considering they're kittens. Our 2 are constantly bouncing off the walls and furniture, chasing each other. Last night Grr decided to join in the chasing and wrestling, but Grr doesn't seem to do anything halfway. Once she got into the "chase and pounce the kittens" mode, she went all out. Seriously, it scared me. She looked like she was stalking her prey, and the babies were scared. Both of them ended up all poofy and screaming. I saved Riley before Grr could put the bitey on her (which I think Grr was planning to do), and Grr went into isolation till morning. Do any of yours fight? If they do, do they ever take it too far?

It is more fun. You just never know what they will do next.
This morning the Mites were exploring the bathroom. They haven't been allowed in as the Babies were quarantined there. Yesterday we let the Babies out. They started really running and making noise, so I went in to check.
They had shredded the new roll of toilet paper, it was everywhere. They were running, playing chase, in a circular pattern around the room, which is very large -- cat tree, vanity, food bowls, tub edge, tub, shower curtain, toilet, floor streaking back across to the cat tree.
I looked at the top of the cat tree and there was the leader. KC! Who tried her best to look not guilty -- with a little piece of toilet paper caught on the side of her face. The next level down was Momma Dinah, and then all six Mites. Eight solemn little faces, all looking like "who me?".

There are six of us and Jan has never been able to catch all of us in one photo. And that's not counting the three dogs. So this was quite an accomplishment!
