Wild Wednesday

This was the kitchen early Wednesday morning.
Items from the pantry on the floor,
trash basket overturned, things pushed off the counters.
While Mites can be rowdy, they have never done anything like this.
They moved herd-like, darting from one place to another,
and we realized they were tracking something.
BJ was the leader of the hunt, backed up by Earl and Sol.
KC was on the sidelines, watching intently.
After a lot of scuffling, BJ goes in for the final pounce
while backup Earl looks on.
Once pounced, the Mites backed off to let KC approach...
... she touched it with her paw and declared it dead.
Then all the cats followed KC and BJ out of the kitchen.
Leaving me to clean it up!

BTW, there are now kitty water bowls everywhere for them to drink from.
No more water glass business in this house!

So glad you have many fine hunters to prevents those things from staying arounds.
We helps Momma and we kills the many legged spiders. They crunch berry nicely!!
Fanks for stopping by and wishings us and Momma happy holidays.
And Momma says she agrees, there is definetly an invisible sign the hobo kitties can read that is front of her house too. She feeds the strays as well as all of us.

Wow, what an excellent team of exterminators! I can just imagine how fast they would work with something that moves quickly, like a mouse!

Since we got KC, we seldom see anything crawling or slithering in the house.
This bug was doomed -- picked the wrong darn house to come into! The Mites moved in unison, like a true pack. Missy was on the sidelines, like a coach.
Right after that, Autumn, the only female Mite, chased and killed a medium sized spider in the bathroom. Was she ever proud.
All in all, Christmas Day was a good hunting day.

News Alert: Missy & KC just received their SECRET PAW from Knightly, Lizzie & Firenze. I'll have the pictures up tomorrow.
And with 13 cats, the Mites are enjoying the goodies as well. With so many prezzies, Missy & KC didn't mind sharing. And, as usual, the box and packing peanuts are every bit as popular as the goodies. That rabbit fur thingy is a huge hit.
