Schatzie aka Harley Dude was helped to the Rainbow Bridge today
at approximately 10:30 a.m.
We believe Schatzie knew what today was about.
He jumped up on the vet's table, licked us all one final time.
When the injection was given, he took a final breath and relaxed.
Really relaxed, for the first time in years, free from pain.
I know Bear was there to greet him at the Bridge,
as they were best friends in life.
Please keep his Mommie Lynn in your thoughts and prayers.

I know it was hard, but it was the right thing to do. Hugs for Schatzie's mom. Don't let anyone say he was "just a dog". And ML, if Lynn is having trouble coping, can you suggest she try some therapy? She may have a really hard time with this since she lost her husband and now Schatzie. Just our 2-cents worth.
Actually, all my beans have been in therapy for years, and I still think they're nuts. All beans. Is. Weird.
Mommy Lynn, God Bless you. Purrs and Prayers going up for you and your family. It was a very hard thing you had to do. Schatzie was such a cutie. He definitely will live on in your heart. The hurt will ease.
