Sol was brought out first and stayed in the big carrier...
... while ol' BJ tromps through the exam room....
Smokey was brought in last...
... and was the least radical of the three. If you notice the cardboard carrier in the photo below,
the plan was one boy per carrier box.
It took BJ all of 20 seconds to chew and claw his way out.
Smokey simply collapsed his from the inside out.
Sol was in the fabric carrier, but so determined to get out
Leslie tie-wrapped the double zipper to keep him from opening it.
Using two borrowed reinforced plastic and wire crates,
with extra tie wraps at crucial points, we finally got the boys crated.
We made it out of the exam room to the check out counter.
Then the peeing began, shooting sideways out of the crates.
It couldn't have been an accident. (sorry, no photos)
The boys were definitely making a statement.
Annette, patient saint that she is, took each crate
and soggy cat to the back and cleaned them up.
Finally we got the crates outside and loaded into the back seat of the car.
We weren't out of the parking lot and the peeing started again.
Once home, I cleaned three smelly, disgusting cats.
Scrubbed down and cleaned the backseat of the car.
Hosed and cleaned the borrowed cages.
I fed the little traitors. They curled up on their favorite down quilt,
sound asleep, looking like little angels.
Anyway, they are home and they are healthy.
Glad you only go through this one time.
Weights: Sol 9.06, Smokey 7.05, BJ 8.08 & Lil Faith-Boo 6.03.

The kittens favorite place to watch TV and nap
is ready for the homecoming later today.
(Very sad to see it so quiet and empty)
KC has been looking for them, crying and me-owing.
We can pick them up around 3 PM (central).
They are getting vaccinated and Dr. Smith wants to watch them for a few hours.
We'll have lots of photos and statistics on each kitten.
Also, we will get their reactions to their "surprise"!
Please keep Miral, Momo, and Lilly Lu,
who are all very ill, in your thoughts and prayers today,
and Hottie's Grandma Cat, who is having a heart procedure.
The 24-hour Purrs & Purrayer Vigil
with chatzy room continues at the PPP Bloggy.
Tonight is the Monthly Purrayer Circle.
9pm EST (8pm CST, 7pm MST, 6pm PST)
Go light a candle for our furriends.
Sanjee set up a cat group for the Cat Blogosphere (PURR),
and it currently has 48 candles from six countries.

Purrs to all of our friends, and purrs to the 3 kits who are coming home!!! YAY!!! I know it was quiet and lonely without them.
We are glad the kittens get to come home today.
We are purring and praying for all our friends in need.
We hope Faith gets over her URI very quickly and the boys won't even notice anything different other than the fact that they were ABANDONED overnight. Hee hee.

I cannot wait to hear about their reactions! Course my reaction was to just pretend it never happened. I popped right out of the PTU and started jumping and playing and eating! I WAS STARVED TO DEATH!
That is so poignant seeing those beds just waiting for the little ones' happy return home.
I am purring and purring for all of our friends in need.
Oh we're glad that they'll be back soon, a house without kittens is too quiet!
We're purring for all the sick kitties and people!
Prayers and purrs for the Sherwood group's excellent recovery and for all the sick furriends around.

The little "home theater" for the kitties looks very welcoming... do they get popcorn, too? Am sure each and everyone of them is going to be just fine... enjoy the homecoming.
Can't wait to see their reaction to their fun surprise!! ~queen Snickers
What a warm looking homecomeing! We lit our candle and are purring and praying hard for our friends.
I hope all of the kids are fine now!
a very well-prepared home-coming feline family:) oh how nice & comfy there.....
We have lit candles. We will look forward to hearing good news (we hope) from everyone.
Oh boy! Can't wait to see the kitties reactions!
BTW, Faith didn't have any surgery due to the uri. We will take her in next week along with Missy, who needs shots and tags.
I am pleased to report that little Faith sat quietly in her soft carrier in my lap the whole trip, did not participate in the "pee fest", and only mewed a couple of times.

We used a cardboard carrier for the first cat, and didn't even get to the garage before his paws dropped out the bottom!

Great little Mancats!Heh,heh,heh!!!!!

Uncle Max will be so proud!
My goodness! Sol is a pound bigger than BJ and 2 more than Smokey? He is a big boy!
Not an ounce of fat on any of them, they're all mancat-in-training muscle.
As for the whole, ah, wet thing... are these the same boys that cuddled with the V-E-T when they were small enough to be held one hand? I guess they didn't like their surprise. Naughty boys!!
Remember, Sol's name was originally Solitaire, because he was the runt and kept to himself. Now he's bigger than BJ. None of them weighed over 1.4 pounds the last time Dr. Smith saw them.
Yes, I'm thinking they told me they didn't care for their surprise. They will be on pain meds for the next three days, morning and night.
ML
Also, Missy weighs 12 pounds and KC weighs 7 pounds.
awesome job wif the peeing guys!!!! glad you're all home and ok.
O where O where has my little girl gone, O where O where can she be? With her bright blue eyes and her tongue so pink, O where O where can she be??

Hi, secret admirer!
Hmmmm, big blue eyes, that's gotta be Missy's secret admirer. Wowie, that's too cool. Missy's gotted a secret admirer.
i's posting a pickshure fur you tomorrow, okay. hee hee.
Purrs, KC
Maybe the V*T should have kept the boys sedated a little longer, in the interests of getting everyone home.
So the boys are already bigger than KC. They're gonna be big mancats.
LMBO! Shame on you boys, lol! Well, I'm glad you all (including mommaML and dadCharley) got through your ordeal and are home and comfy once again! Hugs & purrs to all the kittehs!
I'm guessing the boys didn't like their surprise much. I think they will recover quickly. I hope little Faith gets over her URI quickly and that things go smoothly for her next week.
We are glad the boys are back home. Is Faith home too, or did she have to stay at the vet some more? You are right about the beds looking empty.
Tiki, Tavi, Cody and Camie
Well, well ML...
sounds like the boys
were playing
"get back".
That'll teach you!
I echo emma's kat: LMBO. But I know that's no fun to clean up all those wet and smelly cats -- and the car. Holy smoke! And yes, you're right -- thank heaven it happens only once. But then there are those trips for shots ... ah, well, they won't stay overnight for those.
When's Faith coming home? I miss her cute antics!
If you fink that you are happy that -ectamy's only happen once, imagine how WE feel! MOL.
Sweet little Faith is fine, she doesn't really seem that sick. We'll take her back next week to check and see if she is ready for her ladygarden-ectomy.
She didn't participate in the "Pee-Fest", but of course, she didn't have surgery.
I'll post some new pictures today, one of Missy for her secret admirer. The boys are rowdy as ever, they are on pain meds till Sunday, but you could never tell it.
ML
cover mouth with paws, giggling I am so sorry the boys peed in your car. :) ~Queen Snickers
HAHA Pee Fest!!!!
Bet they did put their little heads together to come up with that. And synchronized, even!
Hehe those boys certainly paid you back. We're glad everything went well.
I got only as far as the peeing sideways part and burst into uncontrollable laughter with tears rolling down my cheeks. Haven't laughed like that in a while. I'm sure YOU didn't think it was very funny!
Gosh...the V-E-T!!!
What a great little spot they have! It's funny that BJ was able to eat his way out. He must be a really strong cat.
