To Mom Laura

For Lilly Lu, Mu Shue, Iris & Mom Laura

UPDATE 9 PM 4/12
Mom Laura is with her parents at their house.
The damage to her apartment was not as bad as originally reported,
mostly smoke and water (NO charred dust).
She left the patio door open before leaving for work.
A second search of the apartment today revealed no cat bodies!!!!
They live on the 3rd floor, but the balconies overlap.
There is a large woods directly behind her apartment.

Mom Laura's apartment was completely destroyed in a fire Friday 4/11/08.
She lost everything and is currently homeless.
She is staying at her mother's house.
The fireman who went through her apartment, looking for her cats,
said everything, including the walls, was charred to dust.
One slim chance is the cats were somehow able to leave through
a sliding glass door and climb down patios to safety.
It is a very slim chance, but we are clinging to that hope today.
We purr and pray for Lilly Lu, Mu Shue & Iris
to be found in the nearby woods or have been picked up.
And we pray for Mom Laura and her twins during this difficult time.
