Faith Boo - Saturday Caturday

Faith is growing up to be such a beautiful kitty.
She is getting much friendlier, still sleeping beside me,
but finally allowing me to pet her without running away.
Now she will sleep on the desk beside me while I'm on the computer.
She actually walks up to be petted during the day and
stays near me to "snoopervise" different activities.
The last picture shows her snoopervising the making
of a small pot of twig (kukicha) tea.
Her tail is warming against the teapot and over the teacup!!!
It must have felt nice because she moved around
but her tail remained against the teapot.
Needless to say, the cup and tray got a rinsing before use.

This should be mentioned: SA left a comment on yesterday's post and Missy is heartbroken. She has taken "Talk to the Paw" to a new level. She was last seen dragging a Squiggle and a Nip Nanna (more on those later) to one of her hidey places. In her words, she will " again but just not now!"

Oh, we just read the last post from S.A. All Mommy has to say is:

Men...can't live with 'em.....can't kill 'em!

Missy, don't be blue! You have those boys standing in line to be your new S.A.

Hi, MBE! I just read that your last S.A. is lying low for now. So...what better time to make MY move!

MBE, I have admired you from afar. Your beautiful furs, your beautiful eyes....I would love to spend time with you!

Your NEW S.A.

I hope your friend in the hospital is feeling better. I must say that now I have no idea who the SA is!

ps: My Mommie would have just wiped off the furs and used the teacup.

O, Missy Blue Eyes is indeed tha Mystery Lady Cat. Her background is cloaked in mystery and she is a furry quiet cat.
Her beloved Captain Casper, torn between love fur her and love fur Mousie, tha saucy British cat. And now two Secret Admirers and yet no cat boyfriend of hers own. I fink she's just furry, furry lonely.
She's in hers hidey place in tha closet wif her favorite toys in place an hers "talk to tha paw" sign on tha door. Best just to leave hers alone right now.

Hee hee, Daisy, that's about all we do, too. Just a good wipe off.

And isn't little Miss Faith Boomerang growing into a beauty? She is finally mellowing a bit and she and I are playing together a lots. She finks I's hers mommy now. Momma Tortie was a grrreat mommy cat, but effurry now and then, she'd just knock tha heck out of thems kittens, jus whap em reel good an send em spinning. it kinda skeered tha kittens. I don't do that, nuh-uh, i'd never do that.

Oh goodness Beautiful Missy Blue Eyes. Seems like no matter what I do, I hurt you. I thought maybe you wanted me to lay low for the way I behaved at your party. But I do agree with your Mom, you have some brother's and sister's that need to share posting with you. Please don't be lonely, it seems like you have an a whole lot of friends by reading all your comments.

Love you,
Your Secret Admirer

Anonymous said... the Old Secret Admirer has come out to play. Well, be warned...there is a New Secret Admirer here now! Shall we duel over the fair maiden...MBE? I shall win her love with poetry:

She walks in Beauty
George Gordon Byron, Lord Byron. 1788–1824

She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that 's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impair'd the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

Love, Your NEW S.A.

For those of you who asked, Lynn was in the hopsital until a few hours ago. She was diagnosed with severe COPD, something she was not previously aware of. She is at home with her two daughters to take care of her. She will be on oxygen most of the time and will have to stop smoking. She's not feeling good but at least it is not life-threatening and her heart is fine.

Faith Boo is one lovely lady! She's smart, too, keeping her tail warm!
