Wordy Wednesday - Two Secrets Revealed

Secret #1:
Mommy & Daddy couldn't figure out why
the house got so hot when the dryer was on.
Hee hee hee.
Hmmmm, wonder how that happened??????
[Rascal, this one's for you. Love, Faith Boo]

Secret #2
Bow, The Baby Squillion
Midori and Grr, Midnight & Cocoa were right.
During her famous Squillions auctions,
Beau's Mom Cathy posted that she "killed" a kitten.
It's head broke off and she put it in the trash.
She told me and I asked her to auction it, that I would bid on it.
Auntie Deb found out and wanted it also.
So began a bidding war.
Bidding was high [see comments] when I began having tooth problems.
Without me bidding, Deb won . [see comments]
I was so surprised & happy when Deb sent Bow to me.
Mom Cathy had constructed a special healing neck brace,
so "his head wouldn't fall off during his trip".
I replaced the "orthopedic collar" with ribbon.
He was named Bow because the bow hides his scars.

What a great story of Bow! He looks pretty spiffy with his ribbon! Even broken cats deserve a good home!

That's a great story - I love it how you gave a broken Squillion a new home!

And I had to laugh at the dryer vent -- I can so picture the vent shooting out nice warm lint balls for everyone to play with!

That is a great story about Bow. We also loved picturing Faith fracturing the dryer vent.

Oh, you beautiful, talented girl! I like to climb behind the dryer, over the bendy silver thing and I've sure punctured it with my claws lots, but you tore that thing in half! I'm so impressed!
purrrrrrs!

We're so glad Bow got saved! We've got his twin here, but with no bow and his head's always been attached.

Yeah, broken kitties deserve a home too. We can't do dat to da drier vent because it is real metal and impervious to both teefs and claws.

i's heared Daddy Charley talking about replacing tha "mody-fied" hose wif a new one an reinforcing it wif a duck's tapes.
Hee hee, Mo, it was more like cat fur balls shooting outta tha dryer vent... uh, not that I'd knows anyfing bout that, nuh-uh. Not me.
That was/is F-Boo's favorite hiding an sleeping place.

Faith-Boo, you have very impressive destructive skills! Of course, your Mommy and Daddy still have to PROVE that you were the one that did it! After all, you do have five siblings to blame it on! Hee Hee!!

Hi Bow! You are such a cute squillion! ML and I couldn't let a squillion go in the trash! So he lost his head...I do that all the time! A little glue...and he was good as new! Isn't he adorable with his bow! Beau's Mommy did wonderful reconstructive surgery. I understand that Beau snoopervised. It was very intense surgery, but Bow is now purrrfect! He was destined to live with ML since she was the one who helped save him!

Brilliant secrets! I'm gonna try that dryer secret to help my mom with our gas bills. We have gas heat and an electric dryer, so I can save her some green papers by heating our house in winter with the dryer!!

Be careful of those dryer hoses! My Daddie was doing some routine annual maintenance on our dryer using one of those long snake things made to clean out the vent all the way to the ceiling (about 2 weeks ago). Well, after his "cleaning" job, there was no air flow at all. He tried everything to clear it, with no luck. We finally had to hire somebody with special tools to clean it out. For $300! We replaced the hose with a different kind, too.

Awwww...that's a sweet story! I love Bow's bow.

And as for the dryer vent, well, um we sort of had that happen here last week. I think Knot Me did it.
