Hello Dolly

Dolly? Where did that come from?
It looks like we are at the upper boundary of Dolly's projected path.
While we've been through a few hurricanes,
it was a tropical storm (Allison) that took the roof off our townhouse
and left us with $40,000+ in damages.
Hopefully we will get some rain - a lot of rain -
since it looks like we will be on the "dirty side" of the storm.
Keep your fingers and paws crossed we do.
I'm on my way out to buy six individual hard shell kitty carriers,
one for each precious baby.
We won't need them this time,
but I've put off buying them mainly because of no place to store them.
Will post some cute photos and such later on.

And thank you for all the good wishes and get wells.
The chest pains have stopped and were likely anxiety.
Will see Dr. Bob later this week for another check-up.

Do you like
green eggs and ham?

I do not like them,
Sam-I-am.
I do not like
green eggs and ham.

Would you like them
here or there?

I would not like them
here or there.
I would not like them
anywhere.
I do not like
green eggs and ham.
But I do love you,
Sam-I-am.

Well Hello Dolly,
Well Hello Dolly!
Now I'm gonna have that stuck in my head all day!
Glad you're feeling better! Keep getting some rest.
I have a stack of cat carriers in the bedroom with a blanket draped over them - and then some sherpa soft ones for emergencies (I bought those after the tornado warning we had earlier this year).

You're just getting over chest pains from anxiety, and now this? You need Dolly like another hole in the head. Just prepare for the worst but expect the best. Hang in there...

Ah, true love.

Missy, we hope your mom continues to feel better. Having carriers handy is a good idea.

YIKES! good idea about the carriers. we used to have enough for all of us, but now one is with Jade and the big one that holds 3 of us is at the Lady's mom's house for the feral family. we're in big need of more. oh, and the hard ones make good end tables and kitty resting places when covered with a snuggle. we scatter them around like furniture.

We are hoping that Dolly doesn't come to visit. We're far enough from the gulf coast we usually don't have to worry about hurricanes, but Katrina brought 60+mph winds when she blew through with what was left of her fury and we are 300 miles from the shore! Stay safe and glad you are feeling better.

Yes, where DID this Dolly come from? Yikes! I hope it stays south of here and sends us only rain, no tornadoes or other horrors.

And we're all VERY happy to know that you're feeling better -- so much better that you're thinking of things such as cat carriers!

Stay safe!

I hope the storm stays away from you. More stuff to worry about which you don't need.

We are very glad your Mom is feeling better!! TS Dolly? Yikes. Mom moved us all out of Florida because we are "sick of Hurricanes". Mom says if we ever move again, it will be even further away from hurricane alley. Stay safe!
