U P D A T E ! ! !
Moki is resting and fine after 4-hours of testing today.
Crystal meets with a team of neurologists tomorrow and then brings Moki back home.
The only thing to add is one test will never need be repeated because it went so well they were able to get two samples.... 9/16/2008 - 9:00 pm

Moki's tests, originally scheduled for yesterday afternoon, were postponed until this morning. Crystal said that was to give the staff a chance to observe Moki and to give him a chance to get used to the environment and relax.
Please keep this little guy in your purrs & purrayers, the tests carry risks for him in his current condition. Crystal will call Deb and I as soon as Moki wakes up from the procedures and we will post it on the CB.

Grr, Midnight & Cocoa have three special raffles this week for some special friends. Robyn donated a gorgeous Angel Kitty pendant and earrings of Rainbow Aura crystal which is amazing. Karen has put together a fantastic kitty bed package with tons of goodies. Last, but not least, is a beautiful pink coral necklace and earring set. Tickets are $2 each and the money raised will go to Georgia, the little Canadian kitty who had life-saving surgery last week and to Pam, Mom of Angel and Taz. Pam is also selling jewelry and her entire bead collection on her website, Prairie Sunshine, in an effort to finance her medical expenses.
KC & Sassy are raffling off a 160 GB Seagate External Hard Drive and Lexar Stainless Steel Jump Drive to raise funds for Moki and Panther. These tickets are also $2 each.

Hi Missy and KC,
We didn't hear anything back from UC Davis last night, which means that the pre-anesthesia testing must have gone ok and they will be moving forward with the MRI this afternoon as planned. We will let you know just as soon as we hear anything more.
Purrs and Headbutts,

My thoughts are with little Moki!
We're sure purring for Moki!
We are purring!!!
Crystal emailed earlier and said Moki's test should be finished late this afternoon, that everything this morning looked good.
She said we wouldn't hear anything until after about 6:30 or 7pm Mountain Time. That would be 7:30 Central, 8:30 Eastern, and 5:30 on the West Coast. So we've got a bit of waiting to do.
Deb or I will post the minute we hear.
Lots of good updates here :)
We will keep everycat in our purrayers and help out where we can .
Purrs for you too :)

Just in, an email from Crystal:
Ok. If all goes well you should hear from me sometime between 8:30 and 9:30. Its 4:30 here now which means Moki has been under for 2 hours, so we are half way there and so far no calls, which in this case is a good sign!

Crystal is in California not Colorado, so she is on Pacific Time. If it is 4:30 PM there, then it is 6:30 Central and 7:30 Eastern. Moki has about two more hours to go.
Moki's blog was updated this evening. He came through the tests like the little trooper he is. Crystal will bring him home tomorrow afternoon after meeting with the neurologists.
I'll bet he's walking soon, his progress is just incredible.
Thank you everyone for all the purrs and purrayers, we know they work.
