... we've got a New Arrival that needed a name.
And there were so many good entries. All kinds of names...
....it was very hard to choose.
But we did make a choice and we have a winner.
Hello, Socket SweetFeets and congratulations to Derby
for the winning name.
Derby's prize package is already in the mail to him.
And now, Mr. Socket's life is about to begin...
he is now enroute to his new home with... ta da...
the beloved Billy SweetFeets.
His name may be changed by his new family.
We enjoyed having Mr. Socket with us.
We only want the best for him because
he was made with love and given with love.
Sometimes in life things change.
We knew his original owner would love
to see him in the arms, er paws, of his namesake, Billy.
With that said, Billy, Miles and Sammy
will be welcoming him home in a few days.
And finally, we have yet one more winner.
Our own lovely, elegant Missy Blue Eyes was one of the winners in
Texas' Funny Picture Friday

Oh, it was such a hard decision. We were also favoring Brussel... actually they were all so good.
Mommie ML's working with networks (computer) for years and years sort of "sealed the deal" for the name... and since he did begin life as, well, as a sock.
