I am inspired by the lovely Riley and
her recent work, What Is Inside The Big Chair.
I recently began a project of my own, Clawing A Chair Open.
It is a work in progress.
I am days, if not weeks, behind Riley, so I must keep busy.
I have uncovered the chair-guts, a lovely green foam.
Who knows what else is in there, maybe even boards, like Riley found.

pee ess: It would go much faster if my little sister, Faith Boomerang would just help me. But no, she's far too busy with her own projects to help me out.

Is it performance art, or working towards a finished piece?
Hmmmmm. Is it a work of art or a kittis just testing out the patience of his mom?
Questions, questions, questions!
Very Zen.
Catsynth, it is both.
Sweet Praline, it is both.
And it was also a photo op to show off my mancat-ly claws, do you think Riley noticed? She can click and biggify, you know.

That's a fine performance piece you have going on there Sol. I am very impressed.
I am so impressed. I wish I had a "canvas" like that to express myself!
We are sending representatives from the Guggenheim to visit and see if your work is worthy of a one-man-exhibit. They were properly impressed by the photos they saw...
Jasmine did that to our recliner. Yukky yellow foam and more wood. Too bad Faith Boomerang won't help you. I bet she'd be -expert- at that.
that's lovely art there Sol!!!! Mommy keeps buying stuff wif somefing called Microfiber on it so that we cannot get our claws into it.
OMG! That's exactly what have been happening here. I hope the rest of your furniture were not projects as well.. haha. :P

::gasp:: Ahem, Marley has a project he had started and (luckily) not finished. We'll just call it "Couch a la Claw". Emma has also helped with this project...to my dismay. :)
Excellent artwork Sol! hehehe
Ooooh, Jan says if we so much as touch her new chair, she's going to send us to live with you. Right now we're thinking it over. We know you can use the help, but we think we still have work here to do.
I'm a little surprised that Faith isn't helping you out . . . but I know two tortie twins I can loan you if you'd like a few extra paws!
::GASP:: It's gorgeous! And lookit those manly claws! Green foam? How totally cool! I wonder if we have anything with green foam inside? I'll have to check.
love
Riley
pee ess: Remember my beautiful work in wood, called "You're Not Getting Your Security Deposit Back"? I've got further developments I've gotta post.
Wow so cools! Me needs to twy it! Daddy's chair already has a head start from Queen Snickors son when he lived here!
Your artwork is lovely Sol. We are sure it will be a masterpiece when you have finished it.
