Have been following the news on this all day -- sounds like you are not evacuating; but I hope you're at least "up high"... yet not "up too high". Being kind of an old-hand at hurricanes, have to say this one looks like it could rival 1900! Lord, I pray all of you will be safe... and Marilyn as well (she's even southeast of you, right...).

KC and Missy and everycat,
Please be safe!

Our MIG's aunt/uncle live in Pasadena and they are choosing to ride out the storm at home with their 2 woofies.

We thinks they named this storm after our Little Monkey-Isaac but they all call him Ike.

Oooh, please keep posting pictures and news. We want to know how you're doing every minute. (Tell those sea birds that they can hang out at your house during the storm.)

I saw that sunset. Wasn't it beautiful? Ironically beautiful!

We're all hanging in here, and once our mom decides to hit the hay (we've heard the expression, but not sure where it comes from!), we'll all hunker down someplace not near windows.

Stay safe, all of you in the Sherwood house, and we'll try to do the same.

Fortunately, we are in a new area that doesn't flood and we weren't asked to evacuate.
The winds are about 56 mph now and making an eerie howling outside the window. No rain yet.
We lost our cable boxes, one was on and one was off, neither work now.
Wish it wasn't night, I'd take more photos.
Thank you so much for all the purrs and support.

ML and crew must not have power yet either, or they would have posted by now. The only reason I'm online is because my daughter's neighbor has a generator and has run a heavy-duty extension cord to my daughter's house -- for the fridge, modem, router, and a few outlets for charging phones and laptops!

We're all fine, but bored, bored, bored. We're not due to get our power back until after next Monday, so ... I'll be continuing to access the Internet here at my daughter's or at a nearby Starbuck's!!

Grace, Audace, and Ruse are doing great. They don't understand my altered go-to-bed and get-up times, though!! LOL

How's everyone at ML's by now (9/18/08)?
