National Feral Cat Day (NFCD) was started in 2001 by Alley Cat Allies to call attention to the needless killing of feral cats in most shelters. There are a lot of ways each of us can get involved and stand up for feral cats:
- Instructions on how to take the Photo Pledge to show support
- Ideas for activities and events
- Join the Alley Cat Allies Street Team
- Sign up for the ACA mailing list
Alley Cat Allies' website has posters and booklets to print out for distribution, information on the Trap Neuter Return program, one-on-one help to put you in touch with shelters and people in your area, plus much, much more.
