Thursday

Update: Tazz had her first sub-q fluids about two hours ago.
Mommy Margaret held Tazz and Mommy ML did the rest.
It went purrfectly, Tazz was such a good girl.
Tazz was up prancing around right afterwards, while Mommie ML and Margaret sort of collapsed on the sofa.
Thanks, Peggy, for all your help and tips.

Sol, here. Practicing my "serious" look.

And here I am with a big smile on my face. Can you see it?
I'm happy because I stole a piece of brown packing paper when Mommy ML and KC were wrapping auction packages. I love brown paper.

Mom ML wanted to thank everyone for their comments and support after the loss of Bandit earlier this week. She tried for years to get him to become an indoor cat. She said that is what hurts so much, knowing his life didn't have to end so soon. If she could have gotten to him sooner, before he became so wild and feral.

Later today, Mommies ML & Margaret will give Tazz her first sub-q fluids all by themselves. I'll be back with a full report on how that goes... Sol

Sub-Q's are scary the first few times. Then you become a pro. If you have any questions, let me know and I can maybe walk you through it. It will do wonders for Tazz.

we like your smile Sol!! brown paper is awesome!

Sub Q's is scairty the ferst time, but mommy says it gets easier. Mommy saided that it was helpful to haf really yummy treats on hand to gif if Tazz gets a little "wiggly" and then right after it's done. Good luck - we will be purring for your Mommy!

We love your smile!!!

Cats are actually better with Sub Q's than you would think. Even Georgia didn't fight the time we gave some to her!

There are just some cats you can't ever bring indoors. They choose otherwise, as Bandit did. You did the best you could for him because you cared.

We hope all goes well for you giving the Sub-Q to Tazz. You are all in our thoughts. We're purring and whining for you.
