A note from ML:
Right now I am supposed to be on my way to Blog Paws.
I am heartbroken because I cannot attend.
Charley hurt his "good" foot earlier this week... not the paralyzed (left) one.
He cannot walk at all.
At first they thought it was a mild fracture, tests show it is gout, too much uric acid.
Since he has diabetes, this is something to really be watched.
I was so looking forward to meeting all my furriends in person,
especially Robyn, Teri and Caroline...
and others... just not sure who is attending.
I know it is selfish, but I am feeling bad right now.
Send Charley some purrs and huggs, he definitely needs them.
He also needs to stay on a diet and it is difficult to get him to do this.

Purrs and Prayers going up for Charley...praying he doesn't fuss with you too much about his diet. My mom would have turned 89 years young today - had she listened to orders about her diabetes. You get Charlie on the phone with me, I'll tell him what can happen if he doesn't mind his wifey!

Sorry to hear about Charley and that you won't be able to go to BlogPaws. Diets are difficult - I am a diabetic kitty and my dad is diabetic and so is my Devon Grandma so we do know it is difficult.

So sorry to read about the illness and all of the criteria that are going to be difficult to follow. It must be so sad for you to be missing the meeting...sigh. I'd feel awful, too. Sending good thoughts to ALL of you!
Oh no that is so sad to read - we are sending over lots of purrs and prayers for Charley to get better soon, and for him to be able to stick to his diet. We know it is tough to give up the foods you love.
It is too bad you have to miss BlogPaws but it just gives you something to look forward to for next year.
And that is very cool that BJ wend from feral to techie!
My sisters and I are purring for Charley too, we're purring really loud. Of course you did the right thing by staying where you are needed...take care of Charley, it's more important now.
