Missy Blue Eyes, KC, Faith Boomerang, Sol, Smokey, Brutus Jr, Mom ML and introducing Baby Cat
Looks like you're both contemplating the plant for a snack????
Yes--is that plant going to be food soon?
Is there a nip plant you guys could eat?!!...Hi, beautiful KC and sexy Sol, sending lots of kisses your way!...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Whoa, that plant has seriously old origins! I can tell KC and Sol are concentrating on their purring right now. I think we all are, with so many kitties that need healing right now!
Fortunately, there are three pots of wheat and oat grass on the counter beside them. They do look like they are considering if ivy is edible.
That plant does look yummy you two. Looks like you were thinking about taking a little bite and along came the camera. Better luck next time. Have a great day.
Well, what are you two waiting for?
You two look like you were caught in the act!!
Do we see two guilty expressions - what have you both been up to??
You look like you're sharing a secret!
Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivyA Cat will ear ivy too, wouldn't YOU?KC, Sol, this is just an old song....don't eat the ivy!!! Love, Auntie Deb
Hey kids, Momma ML seems to be growing a few pretty pots of Pothos, there! Beware, it's also known as "Devil's Ivy"! Put the bitey on that and you'll likely get a tummy ache!QM likes pothos, and jade plants and ficus trees...but in spite of being a floral designer, can't keep a plant alive! You two seem to know the best noms are the grasses Mommy has growing for you, special! You two are very beautiful! (Sol, ManCats can be beautiful, too!)Can't wait to give you all scritches and hugs!!
No, no, no, this is *NOT* Devil's Ivy. It is special, it is Angel's Ivy. It belonged to my sister, Carol, and she hated the given name. She had it in a pot beside her when she died, and I have managed to keep it all these years.Over the years, I have given away hundreds of pots of it, always carefully explaining that it is Angel's Ivy.
Those two sure look guilty about something, don't they!Makes you really wonder.
Oh it looks like you two got caught red pawed!
Shame is upon Us. We should have known that Of Course, that is Angels' Ivy! Far, far too beautiful to be anything other than heavenly inspired! Please accept Our humblest apologies!♥♥♥Rose and the Remorseful-Royals
Oh, QM Rose, everyone knows this stalwart, un-killable ivy as Devil's Ivy, that was why my sister re-named it.She had a strange sense of humor. We are going to send you some of her ivy... how does that sound?Trust me, it is truly un-killable.Love & Purrs,ML
This is such a beautiful photo! ;-D
