Yup, I's sickly, again.
Iffen you remember, I was sickly just a month ago.
So I got to see Dr. Smith Monday morning.
I's got a U-R-I an lotsa meds an a shot to make me feel all better.
An I's snuggled up by mine Mommy ML right now.
Yup, you readed that right, I's sleeping by mine Mommy.
Dr. Smith said cause of mine kitten-hood,
I don't haf defenses in mine nosey.
So I's gonna get sick more.
Mommy said it's okay iffen I do.
An I's being pretty good,
I didn't even whine and yell in tha car on tha way.
Well, maybe just a little.
So send me a couple of purrs, I don't need a lot...

Lots of purrs to you, KC. Tell your mom to start giving you L-Lysine in your food (preferably canned) if she doesn't already. It's an amino acid that binds to the molecules of the cold virus and lessens the symptoms and severity. Of course if you have a secondary bacterial infection you'd need aunty-bi-otics, but those wouldn't do any good for a virus. So if it's just a virus, try the Lysine. Even our vet recommended it to our mom, though she's been giving it to us for several years already.

I know all 'bout the sneezies. When I gets them real bad in winter time, Humom puts me in a PTU with a towel over it and the vaporizer and puts tea tree oil in the medicine cup. It stinks real nasty and after a few times I feel better. Hope you get better soon.
Oh KC I am so sorry to hear that you are sickly again. But I'm sure Missy will be by your side as well as your Mommy. Bet your brothers and sister Faith Boo will be also. My mom is worried about Patches, she has been peeing every now and then in the wrong places instead of the litter box. She will be seeing Dr. Sandy soon.
