Tabby Toosday - Missy

The black cat clock for Chrystal's auction came today.
I unwrapped it, just to make sure it wasn't damaged.
Then I put batteries in, to make sure the tail actually wagged.
Then I wanted to see how it looked on the wall.
It is adorable!!!
No way I'm giving that up.
Decided I would order the winner their own and have it delivered to them.
It's the cutest thing I've ever seen.
Of course, Sol immediately jumped up, grabbed the tail and ran off,
so that could be a small problem.
Here's Missy, checking it out, once the tail was retrieved.
(Click on the picture to biggify.)

All the items are brand new.
All the items were selected just for Chrystal's auction.
It is a short auction...bidding will end Sunday night at 11:59 p.m.
Every penny of the money goes to build Chrystal's 2nd Cat House!

Mom's been looking at that clock. She wants to bid on it...but has to figure out a spot she can put it if she wins it.

Did the clock kitty get its tail back? LOL.

What a great clock - we wonder if the tail will be a continual delight to your cats and keep getting "borrowed"!!

Can you give her a call???

That is one pawsome clock!

That's funny. Do you think putting it higher on the wall would help save it from kitty paws?

Haha! That is a very tempting tail.

Oh!!! No!!!

I bid on that clock because I like it so much and now I want it even more. So, I may have to buy one on my own if I get outbid.

I'm not made of green papers.

Debby, the lurker.

That is a cool clock! Better put it somewhere where Sol can't get to the tail.

That sure is a neat looking clock. But the sweetest cat is looking at it. Be careful Missy and don't let it fall on you.

Love You,
Casper

Don't worry, Debby (Lurker), we'll get you a Black Cat Clock.
This is the cutest clock I have ever seen.
And out of the corner of my eye, while I'm on the computer, I think it is one of my cats, and I start talking to it. Then I turn and realize I'm talking to a clock.
It looks so real. Especially when you have a gorgeous black cat like Sol.

I admired the clock too! I was thinking of trying to find one of my own later but after hearing that the tail moves, well, it would be too much for my guys to take. I'm sure it would not stay on the wall long at my place! I did check into it on line and found it at this website. They have some other pretty funky clocks too -

Hey, as some of you know I don't have a blog but I am an avid reader of many of yours and leave a comment from time to time. I wonder what any of you have heard of sterile cystitis? My two older girls, Annie who is 19 and her daugher Angel who is 18, have started having issues with it. The vet and online says stress can be a factor, so can lack of exercise. The vet has Angel who has the worst case, on something for neurologic pain and something for physical pain (as needed). She takes the neurological pain relief daily. It's similar to an antidepressant. So far it seems to be helping. She still has spells but they are not as bad as before. Any comments? Ideas? I'm doing some research on line as to other ways to deal with it. It shows up, sticks around for 2-3 days and leaves. The vet said that we're learning about it but don't know why it tends to come and go. Basically it is an inflamation of the bladder and causes blood in the urine, painful urination and urinating in inappropriate places, sometimes frantically. I just wondered - any comments? Good sites to check? Ideas? I would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks from me and the girls,
Marian in Houston

That is the coolest clock ever! MOL about Sol stealing the tail (though we are glad your mom was able to get it back!)...

Oh, Teri thought about bidding on that clock, but she is trying to save green papers right now, but it sure is fun to watch the bidding!

She remembers when one of us chewed the 'second' hand off a kitty clock in our kitchen...she didn't care or get mad but laffed cuz it was all crinkly like our whiskers!

Oh, and Brighton wanted you to know that his purrsonal secretary mailed off your auction winnings yesterday--so sorry for the delay! And if you want to put the little award we made for Brighton's auction supporters, it's at the end of this post:

That IS adorable! We bet the tail would be lost first to Midnight, then Riley and then Rascal.

Gonna go check out the auctions now!

I will email your friend Marian in Houston...sounds like she means her cat has FIC (feline interstitial cystitis) which is what they think Brighton has, so I know lots about it.
