KC did not get to see Dr. Smith on Saturday.
She is doing okay, I steam her as needed,

I called Dr. Smith and told her I would drop KC off Monday morning.
The reason is because I have been caring for Daddy Charles
almost around the clock.
He is very, very sick.

He is impossible to get to a doctor, worse than KC.
He has diabetes and is having very serious symptoms.
I am determined he is going to see Dr. Bob,
not sure how that will be accomplished.
Send those purrs to me, that I can think of a way to do this.

You know, i have one of those. A grown man who acts like a child is very difficult! Know any other "big guys" who could strap him down and carry him to the car?

Wow, Daddy Charles hates going to the vet even more than I do! It sounds to me like he really has to go, though. Don't you wish you could just tempt him with treats and then stuff him in a carrier?

I'm sending my prayers your way for KC and Charley; my hubby FINALLY will go to the doctor but it took a disaster to have him change his ways. I pray Charley will see sense and go!

We are sending purrs and snuggles that everyone feel better soon. Is Papa Charlie physically unable to get to the human vet or just won't get in the carrier? If it's the first, you can get help from friends, or if it's really bad, call 9-1-1...They'll get him out and to proper care. Mommy says that she knows it's an added expense that may not be covered by insurance but it's a thought. Or, maybe call visiting nurses?
Anyway, feel better, KC and Papa Charlie, and ML, take care of yourself!

The mom says Daddy Charles needs to stop acting like a 2-year old child and get his butt to the doctor, or he'll be going in an ambulance. And you can tell him she said so. :-)
Of course we are sending all our purrs to KC, Daddy Charles and to you! Paws crossed the human male will see reason (and men think women are illogical? Ha!). Paws crossed for KC at the vet tomorrow!

It sounds like you have tons of great suggestions. Now you just need some help to get it done. So sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble. We are sending tons of purrs and prayers that everyone gets better quickly. Charles really does need to go to the doctor or it will be ambulance time and hospital time. Hang in there ML.

BTW, maybe this will give you a smile......our mama doesn't have a doctor anymore....those 2 years of operations and complications did her in about doctors, so now she has 2.....not 1....but 2 vets!!!!!! Her cousin, Donita, and her cousin's husband, Jean-Pierre!!!!! Of course they live in Switzerland now, so............

If all else fails with Daddy Charlie, call an ambulance. They usually come with a couple husky beans used to carrying things out to the truck.
