Update

Well, since Daddy Charles stopped over-medicating himself,  most all of his problems have gone away.
His personality was the most dramatic change.
Plus the constant stomach problems, the headaches, everything.
He is almost his normal self again.
So we are back to our "normal" schedule.
We have a long-standing appointment today, so I guess we will keep it.

He will see Dr. Bob Friday morning, and we will both get bloodwork.
I will get Dr. Bob to go over the importance of not overdosing on meds. Again.
Also, I am going to see if we qualify for some kind of home nursing care.
Someone to come in and monitor his meds and blood sugar, etc. since he is violently opposed to me even looking at this. (Why?)
Thanks again for all the support, purrs, grrs, purrayers.

We're confused. Is Charles a bi-ped? Whether he is or not, we hope he stays better!

He is furry confusing.
Charles is Daddy Charles, mine Daddy.
He is a bi-ped wif a bigger brain, supposedly.
Sometimes he doesn't act like it, though.

KC

Wow, sometimes humans are more difficult to take care of than kitties! You would think it would be the other way around.

Mom Kim: Who knows what goes on in the minds of men, if anything? :-P

I'm very glad I've been divorced for a decade. LOL.

Anyway, we ALL are thrilled to read that Daddy Charles is better! And we hope that you can have someone come in to help him. Fingers and paws crossed!

RE: "I want to have a nurse come in to watch him. I believe he qualifies under medicare."

Dsddy Kiril is doing a Happy Dance over this bit of news!

That, and the positive medical news.

Mom Kim: I'd say The Shadow, but he's a man, too, so he's no help! ;-D

If he let's you look at it, Mom ML, you might worry. Because of COURSE you NOT going to worry if you don't look at it, right? Right?

Just like I would have worried if the Polar Bear had called from the hospital that Christmas Day when he got rear-ended on his way home and wanted his passenger checked out, but I couldn't POSSIBLY think anything was the matter if he just didn't call, when he was 4 hours late....

I know over medication is bad and so is under medication. Our Dad does not take his meds for diabetes nor does not check his blood like he should.

We are glad Charles is trying to get back on track

So very glad Charley is back to normal. Just hope he doesn't over med himself again. My Dad does that every so often. He forgets he's taken his meds then he takes some more. Just very glad he doesn't do that very often. Take care Daddy Charley, you too Mom Mary Lynn. KC Sister get well.

Goodness! You've been way too busy! Sick KC and sick Daddy Charles. Men just hate having anyone check them out and what they are doing to themselves! Arggghhhh.
