Formerly Feral Friday - Missy Blue Eyes

Look at this sweet little girl.
You'd never believe she was once a notorious feral, giving birth to her litter of kittens on the hood of a car under the hot August sun.
I'm so glad she came into my life, only wish I had her kittens, too.
(Click on the photo to biggify and see all the Missy sweetness.)

To all our East Coast friends, be very careful, please.
Hurricanes are very dangerous, especially the flooding and tornadoes.
We thank Zoolatry for this great graphic and for the sentiment, Goodnight Irene.
We hope she (Irene) takes the hint.

pee ess: For those of you who asked about my hand, it is slowly getting better. But there is a lump that refuses to go away and there may be some nerve damage. Send me a few purrs here and there and I'll post any changes.

We're purring for all of those in the path of Irene. We were lucky, all we're getting is some wind a a few rain squalls.

We're glad your hand is getting better.

It's good to see Missy so calm and relaxed. What for did her brothers "go her"? And maybe look at getting some CST for your hand. It's to do with nerve ending regeneration and it does good things. There's a soft tissue manipulation place here in Melbourne that could probably help but that's not much use, is it? Soft tissue massage maybe? It'll be pretty sore but hopefully worth it.
