The Cat Blogosphere lost a wonderful lady and I lost a good cat blogging friend.

Cathy and I were setting up a fundraiser to cover Beau's vet bills.
Beside my desk is a package of items she sent for me to auction.
And a Goodie Box I was filling with little things to cheer her up.
She was so worried the vet would find something wrong with her precious Beau.
She seldom complained about herself, she would only write how she was "getting better".
Now we need to find Beau a special home, hopefully with a cat blogger.
Someone who can love him while he adjusts to life without his Mom Cathy.

I believe the problem with Teresa, Cathy's sister, keeping Beau is that she has several older cats that do not get along with Beau.

Geesh, I didn't know Cathy but as she has so many tributes up, I'm sure one of her friends will take in Beau. Poor cat, he must really miss her.

We're sorry to hear that her sister can't take Beau. We are new to the blogosphere, but from the number of tributes all around, it's obvious that she touched everyone. I'm sure that someone in this amazing community will find a place in their heart and hearth to provide a forever home for Beau. This must be traumatic for him.
Sh*t I knew this would happen to him.
She was so worried about his welfare should she die. She told me he is hissy towards her sister and that she already had cats and feared Beau would not get along. Her worst fear has been realized.
I have my 3 and I wish I could take him, she was such a dear friend but I think it would be the same situation as with her sister if he came here.
I will need to consider it if no one comes forward for him.

This is a worry we had from the moment we heard of Cathy's passing. We hope someone can step up and provide a loving and understanding home for dear Beau. He will be grieving for his Mum too and must be feeling very stressed right now. Does anyone know where Beau is right now? Is he at Cathy's sisters place or still in his own home?
