the date and time were a purrfect same-number palindrome.

Well, akshully, it happened again at 11 pm iffen you don't observe military time.

Anuffurr way to say it... yesterday was a repunit palindrome!
So iffen you write yesterday's date as 11-11-11, well, it was a repunit day!
