All this and tuna water, too!

Baby Cat is at The Houston Cat Hospital, awaiting her lady-garden-ectomy tomorrow morning.
Due to the offices being closed on Friday and Saturday this week, I will not be able to pick her up until Monday. I am very sad she is gone, the house seems empty without her bright little eyes.

That said, the mancats -- especially Smokey -- are still struggling with, as Skeezix once called them, "urjez".
As a result, I did not get much sleep last night.
You try to control three 20-25 pound mancats with "urjez", it's not that easy.
When they weren't trying to break the door down with sheer force, they were making these awful noises.
Hopefully tonight will be better now that the hormonal little Baby Cat is away.
Leslie said tuna water works better than using fragrance to mask whatever scent poor little KC has on her! She said to pat all the cats down with tuna water and they would all be equal and all smell the same... toona fishy.
And that the house should smell like tuna for a few days.
It's not a pleasant choice for me, but if it brings peace and quiet to the house, I'm all for it.
So we will be having Toona-Pollooza in a few hours.

And to sweet Auntie JudiBug, the kitties and I are sending love and purrs.
Her diagnosis came back a few hours ago, and the mass is cancer.
She will be seeing a cancer specialist this next week.

Oh no! We are sending our strongest purrs for Judi and desperately hope that her cancer can be treated.
We send purrs too for BabyCat that her ladygardenectomy goes smoothly and the boys calm down by the time she comes home to the Toona House.

We're sending big purrs and prayers for a miracle for Auntie Judi. And also for BabyCat's surgery to go well.

Hugs to you all.

I feel for you. When Angel went into heat when she first came here, she nearly drove us crazy, Of course it happened on a Friday night so we had to live with her. There was no separating her because she was still very skittish! Poor Wizard had urjes and wanted to help, but she was having none of him!

I am so sorry to here about Judi. I hope they can do something for her.

Purrs to Baby Cat, that her spaying goes smoothly. How about vanilla instead of tuna water? It would smell better! :-)

We saw news of the diagnosis on the CB this AM and are purring our absolute hardest and loudest for Judi.

Try using a touch of fabric freshner about the house too. Poor Baby, how lucky she is to have found you and her new family.

Dear Sherwood Bunch, while the story of the need for a Tuna-palooza makes us chuckle, we are glad no-one got hurt, & glad to hear things will soon be back to normal! :-D

Hugs, Purrs, & Purrayers, for JudiBug!
