KC - Mine Sisfur Baby Cat's Diagnosis

These photos were all taken of Baby Cat enjoying her sunspot Monday afternoon.
Click on the photos if you want to biggify the cuteness.

The waiting today was horrid. I didn't learn anything until around 7:30 PM.

Dr. Smith called late to let us know that all the tests came back with no problems...
Baby Cat's heart, lungs, all her little insides are in perfect condition.
And she ruled out a seizure due to the fact that there was no incontinence.
What is wrong with her... she has a very bad kidney infection.

She was in a great deal of pain when I took her in... so much it hurt to use her back legs to walk.
Dr. Smith is keeping her a bit longer to give her megadoses of antibiotics and pain medications.

She said everyone at the Houston Cat Hospital is having so much fun loving on her and snuggling with her. And they all agreed... she is a cutie and she knows how to work it.

I can probably pick her up and bring her back home today (Thursday).

Thank you so much for all the purrs and purrayers... we know that made a big difference.

We're so happy to hear that Baby Cat is going to be ok. I'm afraid I'll never be described like that by MY vet. heh heh.

And those photos of Baby Cat are absolutely beautiful!!!

That must have been a REALLY awful kidney infection for Baby Cat to be in so much pain! I am so glad she is getting the care she needs (and I wonder the vet humans aren't keeping her longer just because they love having her around so much!). I know she will be all better soon, and I am sending her purrs to make sure that happens.

Ouch! Glad that the vet figured out what's wrong and has her on the way to feeling better! Those photos look like she would melt the heart of the sturdiest vet tech.

Whooooo Hoooo. we are so glad she is getting better. But we are sorry she has that darn kidney infection. Sending tons of purrs that all the medicine will soon send that infection away. The donks still have their hooves crossed. Take care.

We have tears of joy in our eyes that the infection can be treated with meds! That has to be so ouchie! Know your little fambly is anxious to have you home with them!

We are so relieved for you that there is nothing "nasty" wrong with Baby Cat. One of Mum's before us cats had this problem and the vet told her to put a teaspoon of water into the wet cat food so that more fluid was taken in and she never looked back!

(ooops for teh deleted comment - QM messed up!)

Horrah for Baby Cat (QM lol'd at "She's cute and she knows how to work it!")

We were worried about the mention of "dialated pupils" but kittehs who are in pain are scared kittehs, and that would happen to scared kittehs.

Hoping the antie-biotiks kill teh infekshun real good, and Baby Cat can finish recouperating with Her Mommy and sisfurs and brofurs. As much lovin' as she may be gettin' at Dr. Smith's hostable, there's No Place Like Home.

Such a Beautiful kitteh - and she definately "works it!"

Lovin' Purrs from QM Rose and the Royals
pee ess...QM lit incense to let Angel Beau know to purr, too...
XOXOXO
