Saturday

First, Bear looks much better this morning, and yes, she did poop, so things are getting back to normal.

Second, we just got back from the Houston Cat Hospital. When I went to walk Bear, Yellow Cat was pressed up against our front door, with his little paws against it, meowing. He is in KIC (Kitty Intensive Care) and there is about a 50% chance he will not make it.

Yellow Cat is a gorgeous baby tomcat, golden stripes with huge golden eyes, probably about 5-6 months old. Somebody dropped him off about three weeks ago and he's been sitting on the windowsill talking to KC every day. We have been feeding him, hoping someone could give him a good home.

Dr. Smith doesn't really know yet. There are no obvious cuts or broken bones. Just his very shallow breathing, icy cold back feet and mewing continually.

He's on oxygen right now. Her only guess was possibly he got hit by a car.

He is a gorgeous cat, so friendly and vocal (!). And he just would not leave our door, I have tried and tried to get him to go elsewhere, other people would feed him, but he would always come back here.

If anyone can pull him through, it would be Dr. Smith.

Poor Yellow Cat! I can relate -- I just received a little abandoned kitty on Saturday. We have good news, though - the vet says with TLC and medicine, the little Inkie should make it. We'll be purrraying for Yellow Cat!

And we're glad that Bear is doing better!

Now, ML -- YOU take care of yourself, you hear?!?!
We're sending our purrayers and love and good vibes for YOU, too!
