Last night I lost one of my best friends ever. Tommy Cates, my next door neighbor thru two neighborhoods and fifteen-someodd years, went home. His wife, Margaret, is battling pancreatic and now liver cancer.I've posted a picture of Tommy, he was Bear's most special friend. He and Margaret have a little poodle, Tazz, that everyone thinks is Bear's twin sister, including Bear & Tazz.

Oh, ML, I am very sorry for your loss of one of your best friends. It's so hard to lose someone who has been a great friend for so long. I'm glad you are going to spend time with his poor wife so she won't be alone in this time of grief. You'll be in my thoughts.
