Wednesday

We had a real scare with Charley yesterday, his blood pressure went out of control. It had been steadily getting worse, probably all the stress of the past week. He went to the doctor and will be spending a couple of days resting.

Margaret is recovering so fast. She was allowed up today to take a few steps. She should be moved into a room later today or tomorrow and they are talking about her being released possibly in a week. Her doctor said she came within minutes of dying prior to surgery. Again, thanks to everyone, every cat and every critter who prayed for Margaret.

Oh, ML, my goodness, but you've been having a rough time. We're thankful to hear Charley is okay now and just needs some rest. What a scare for you.
We're also glad that Margaret is doing so well. Her progress is certainly amazing.
Hopefully, now, you can all just get some needed rest and relaxation.
You are all in our prayers.

I'm sure glad Daddy Charley is ok. Glad it was just blood pressure (although dangerous as well), and not another stroke! And so glad to hear Margaret is still steadily recovering! Now ML, this is an order...YOU take care of yourself!! Ya hear! ;)

Well, we didn't realize how badly it had affected us until I noticed -- late afternoon -- that KC had posted "Toosday Noos" on the Cat Blogosphere and not once, but twice (we had Mr.Linkie problems).
The doctor ordered us both to rest and relax. Charley's blood pressure just went crazy the past few days. Seems like as Margaret got better, he got more worried. It is fine now, we just want to keep it that way.
Just got the mail with a surprise package from Robyn (House of the Mostly Black Cats). It is something I have always wanted and it is a blessing that it came today. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Oh no, we just saw this. I'm sorry you have so much to worry about. We're sending good healing thoughts to Charlie and Margaret & comforting thoughts to you.
Take time to pet a purring kitty or warm woofie and drink some tea. In other words, take time for yourself too ML.
You're in our thoughts and prayers.

I'm glad the goody came at a good time. :) Funny how things work out, isn't it? *hugs* hang in there, and don't forget to take care of yourself too! If I have to come to Texas to sit on you, that will not be good. Trust me on that. I have a fat butt. LOL
