TT - Faith Boo & The Lizard

Faith Boo: I am only eight months old,
but have already proofed myself to be an extraordinary huntress.
Last week, I had my furrst major stalk and kill
when Unlucky Lizard sneaked into our house.
Thirteen Things I Learned From Hunting The Lizard
  1. His tail was not attached very good
  2. He could not outwit a Texas Tornado Tortie
  3. Even if he had, he'd still have to deal with KC and my 3 brofurs
  4. He played dead. A lot.
  5. He was fun to play wif
  6. He made mine mommie go "eeeeeeeeekkkkkk"
  7. Efurryone of the Sherwood Bunch had to have a turn chasing him
  8. I was furry good and shared
  9. Wish Rascal could have been here
  10. Chasing was a lots of work and I got tired
  11. I am a natural hunter and I deaded him
  12. He tasted sort of like chicken (hee hee)
  13. Actually, I like temptations better!

Faith Boo: Well, first of all...that is such a beautiful picture of you! Your tail is magnificent! It is hard to believe that such a lovely kitty is a fierce lizard hunter!

Your thirteen things are very interesting! That lizard didn't have a chance. Didn't he read the sign that is at the bottom of your front door: ALL HOPE ABANDON YE WHO ENTER HERE.(maybe he couldn't read)

We LOVE the part where he made your mommy go EEEEEKKKKK!!! Our mommy hates lizards...she would have fainted! Hee Hee

Daisy will be SO impressed!

O, Auntie Deb, i's furrgot about Tha Sign.
After I caughted tha snake, Auntie Deb had me post a sign on tha front door, down low so's all tha snakes an bugs an critters could see it, plain in view:
"ALL HOPE ABANDON YE WHO ENTER HERE"
Guess Unlucky Lizard didn't take tha time to read it.

pee ess: Cocoa wroted about me trying to throw away the claw clippers today.

pee pee ess: when Grr, Midnight & Cocoa scratch the Lady, she gets scratch marks but nothing else. when Riley and I scratch her, she gets big red bumps that swell up and itch like crazy. weird, huh? I made love paws on her foot this morning and it looks like she was attacked by mosquitos. feels that way too, apparently.

pee pee pee ess: Riley is working on an art project on the kitchen cabinet that is very impressive (read: destructive, per the Lady). she's gonna post it soon.

pee pee pee pee ess: the Lady just decided to try and test her theory that only me and Riley cause an allergic reaction when we scratch her, so she picked up Grr and put Grr tummy up on her lap, then petted the forbidden tum. Grr let her do it for a while, then calmly turned over and jumped down without a scratch. no evidence for the test, but she got some Grr lovin'.

WOWIE! You got him! Good job, Faith! I do not know why the tails always fall off. But they are pretty fun to play with, too. Have you noticed that sometimes the lizard will try to do push-ups? I guess he's trying to impress you with his athletic ability.

Congratulations on your first lizard Faith-Boo. I sure wish my Mom would go eeekkkk and leave my lizards alone. Oh no, she has to pick them up and save them. I do manage to get the tail to play with sometimes. Yep, they sure do like to play dead. Sometimes I think they are dead until Mom comes along and throws them on the other side of the fence and they disappear. Sure wish they would come to the back yard instead of staying out front in the wood pile. Do you think they might be catching on that the back yard isn't safe???

What a GREAT TT post this was! I larfed at your "their tails r not attached so good" comment, cause it sure is true. You sure are good to have deaded one lizard already!

Imagine if a Kitty tail came off like that! I don't think it would but sometimes I chase it and nip at it just to be sure, and my tail always stays on good! *whew*
