KC: Day 7 - One Week Anniversary

Here is KC today, 7/29, one week after arriving in Houston.
Below are a couple of pictures for comparison.
This is the infamous "LA Outlaw" mug shot taken Sunday, 7/16.
KC had just been brought in and photographed when Karen C dropped by the shelter.
On Friday 7/21, KC was freed after a day of phone calls from Deb*
She spent that night with Karen C. & family.
You could already see the relief in her face.
* She who must be obeyed

isn't amazing just how much the expression on her little face changed in one week? from a terrified little kitten to a one who knows she is loved and has a forever home. isn't love wonderful?! bless you karen c. and deb for all of your hard work and persistence. bless you ml for opening your heart and home and taking her in.little kc will have what every kitty should have in this world - love and a forever home. now if we can just figure out how to save the rest of the kitties in this world (or at least as many as we can). guess we have our work cut out for us.

Very well put, Moms. I could see a huge difference in the "outlaw" mug shot and when she was at Karen's. And then look down at Day 6, right under this, that little face is so different. Poor little baby.

Yes, if we could just save them all. Guess that could be another motto for us: saving the world one kitten at a time. Oh, that we could.

And Karen, maybe you can help me guestimate a birthday for her???

Amazing! Proof of what love does. My Mittens was the same in the shelter, sad, afraid, growling. Bless you.

We got the email with the pictures, and we're forwarding it to other people. We hope that helps. We don't know of anyone personally who wants a feline at the moment unfortunately.

Yes, Karen, June 26th sounds like the ideal birthday anniversary for K.C. I believe your grandma had a hand in your finding K.C. I really believe that...
