today we need to include the Zoolatry Hooman, Ann.
Hers haf cellulitis and is furry sick.

Auntie Deb's mom passed early this morning.

Mommy ML is also very sick, Baby Cat bited her last Toosday.
There are eight deep punkture wounds and they are infected.
Mom ML is so scrawny tha bites went to the bone and bruised.
It looks really bad.
You haf to be really careful wif cat bites... they can get infekted and you can die.
Auntie Deb suggested using a paste of baking soda and water.
It worked so much better than (1) Auntie Biotic's cream and (2) heavy duty Auntie Biotic.
We would recommend this simple, cheep, easy treatment for anyone wif an infekted bite.

We also read on Jan's blog that YOUR mom needs healing purrs, after being bitten by a scared Baby Cat.

OMC, that's awful for ML. I know she loves Baby Cat, and that's not the issue. I do hope ML is on heavy-duty aunty-biotics to get all this under control. I've been bitten only once, but it took lots of strong meds to get rid of infection and all that. My prayers are already flowing for Ann and Vic (have been for quite a while), and I'll add ML to my prayer list right now.

Okay. You've had a bite before that swelled up your hand and took you months to get it better with super tough antibiotics. We sure hope that you have doctor given antibiotics this time! Humph!

He tried the same antibiotic this time and it made me so miserable.
I found out I'm allergic to it.
I don't know why these [cat bite] infections are so resistent.
I'm really watching it.

Oh my goodness! ML, Cat bites is the worst! Makes sure yous gets it looked after real good (salt water or a bicarb soak are also good for drawing out infection).

So sorry about the cat bites. But we do hope that, in addition to the baking soda paste, ML is having doctor's attention and strong enough antibiotics. If one isn't working, it may need to be changed.
Hope you heal fast. Hope you are doing better, Baby cat is Ok and not too scared. I rem this happened before with Missy I think and the boys got a bot territorial. Hope that did not happen

Baby Cat, please stop biting ML, it's very rude. ML gave you a lovely home that many cats would give their whiskers for, so you need to rein in those teeth and keep them for biting your fuuds only.
